Heard Lafayette goalie was awesome in the FHS game! Keeper may make the difference in a close match. Lafayette takes title.

One would assume Lafayette, but Dominican do seem to be on some sort of roll, reminds me of Carencro boys last year. Many doubters, but kept winning.
Who has the better coaching staff?

Dominican will take it this year saw both teams play and while laf is more physical dom more skillful as a team(not individual players) Dominican downful could be their youth though.

Experience plays a big part in this final match. Lafayette is and will be hungry for a repeat. Dominican's youngsters will get eaten up by the Lady Lions. Lafayette 2-0.

Should be a very interesting game with contrasting styles. With Lafayette using the ball control style of play and Dominican using the "over the top" style of play. I don't know if this has been their style all year or they use it when it is necessary, but Lafayette has seen it all before. Two players have been on the back row for 4 years, one has been there 2 years, and the other 1 year. There isn't anything they haven't seen at this point. In the loses they have had over the past four years under Coach Breaux, I cannot recall losing to anyone that has played the style of soccer Dominican is said to play( on another tread). We all know anything can happen, so it should be a very interesting game. And I know Lafayette is not thinking Dominican is a pushover, they would not be where they are if they were. In the playoffs you need some skill - which they have, some things to go your way - which they have, and heart - which they seem to have. Good luck to both teams and may the better team win.

Deciding factor: EXPERIENCE.
Laffy's got it in this particular game, Dominican will be lacking. Could be wrong, but I think Laffy get's it done...plus they have less mileage to travel.
Laffy by 2 goals. Thinking 2-0 or 3-1 final in regulation.
Looking over past stuff...Dominican is won it all in '03...so maybe it shouldn't be such a surprise they are in the final!

Here's an off the wall look at it. Northshore loses to Caddo in pks...who loses to Barbe in pks...who loses to Fontainebleu in OT...who loses to Lafayette in pks...sorry Lafayette, looks like your next. DOMINICAN in OT or pks.

Here's a realistic look at it. Lafayette wins, and they won't need OT to get it done! Dominican has never seen a Defense has smothering as Lafayette's.
Should be an exciting game!

Gotta go with Lafayette in a battle. Saw Dominican early in the year score late to tie Terrebonne 1-1 and had a lot of momentum and almost won the game. Lafayette looked strong against Terrebonne in the play-offs in a 3-0 game that was more like a 2-1 game if you were in the stands. I haven't seen Dominican play since they picked up momentum and a ton of confidence but I have to give it to Lafayette, they got game and they bring it for 80 minutes!
