Can anyone tell me if Neville will be in a new district next year? If so what teams will be in it. I heard St. Fred. and OCS will be moving in Div.2 and in the same district with Neville,is this true?

What district is Ouachita Christian playing in. That would be a game to watch. Very good forwards on both teams although Neville has alot more experience and Christian is a very young team. I've seen girls from both teams play in travel ball and h.s. Neville has girls that may have won state in D1 and Christian has girls that played in D1 state finals 2 years in a row. I believe they lost to a N.O. team. Neville and Christian are the 2 teams to watch from the north.

A big change is DII boys and girls going back to a 16 team tournament.

A couple of notes. First, Ouachita Christian is in Div III. They are in a new district (District 2) with Alexandria and Schreveport teams. Second, I think the LHSAA has made a mistake with putting St Freds in Div II District 2. St Freds is a 1A school and should be in the same division as Ouachita Christian. Neville and Carroll are 4A schools and in Division II. Just a couple of observations.

The LHSAA website list the new district as Neville OCS St Fred's Carroll
The funny thing is Carroll has not had a varsity girl's team to date and West Ouachita that is currently in our district does not show up in any Division - so something will have to be done to correct at least that.

Means some travel...but with Bolton, Menard and OCS, it could be an interesting district.

Hi guys! I was told about this site from another dad and I would like to say I am a soccer fan through and through. I have two girls and a son that plays soccer and we love it. My daughter is a freshman and starts for OCS. I believe this new district will be a highly competitive one. The Menard girls are very good and we play them tough. We started four freshman and an eigth grader played most min. every game. I believe we only lose three or four starters. A freshman was co-mvp of district and another freshman led the team with 25 goals so we have alot to build upon. We did get beat pretty good by U-High in the playoffs but with the coaching we have and the experience we gained we hope to advance further next year. I want to say thankyou to all who supported us. God BLESS

I still wonder why they list Carroll with no team and where is West Ouachita? That would leave us with a 2 team district - Neville and St Freds?
