Nov. 15 @ Hahnville Lafayette 1 Hahnville 0 Goals: 61' (PK) 1st half sees HHS control possession and stays on LHS side for 25-30 minutes. LHS has some runs toward goal, many caught offsides. HHS has chances throughout, can't find the back of the net (great keeper play for LHS, very settled). In 22nd minute LHS awarded PK, players misses off the right post. LHS plays more settled and controls the last 10 mins. of the half and comes up empty despite 4 corners in this span. Half score 0-0. 2nd half LHS plays much more settled and see mores action in HHS' defensive half. Some runs on goal make it to the box, but timely defense keeps the Lions at bay. Play mostly revolves around the midfield, with each team having opportunities here and there. 61st minute--LHS awarded a second PK, sneaks it in off the HHS' keeper's hand, LHS goes up 1-0. Remainder of the half goes back and forth with each team having few chances, HHS with some opportunities off crosses, still can't find the back of the net despite outshooting the Lions 15-5. Final Score LHS 1-0. Both teams deserved to win or finish even at 0-0. Just my opinion, but both PKs awarded were very questionable in nature, but that's the name of the game. All the girls left it on the field, Lafayette is solid from top to bottom, class act. Apologies to the LHS team/fans for the delayed start

Tigertail knows how to write a game summary. Would be nice if the rest of you would take notice. Hard to see games up north or in the west when you are attending games in South east corner of state. Nice to know what happened besides just a score.

Halftime score Mt. Carmel - 7 South Terrebonne - 0
South Terrebonne was just in over their head tonight. A ton of effort and want-to on the field but just out manned by a very talented Cubs team. Excellent passing and unselfish play by the Cubs. Great finishing ability by their striker with speed to spare. I give ST all the credit in the world for keeping their head up and heart in this game. In my opinion they are a much improved team from last year and will give a good run in district play. Goal keeper is sure handed and aggressive and should do well this year.

Tigertail knows how to write a game summary. Would be nice if the rest of you would take notice. Hard to see games up north or in the west when you are attending games in South east corner of state. Nice to know what happened besides just a score. Okay here goes: Barbe 6 Teurlings Catholic 0 Barbe moved the ball extremely well for early in the season. TCHS was clearly outmatched in this one. Forward Jana Barrow with the hat trick and forward Anna Clark with a goal. These 2 forwards are the BEST Barbe has had in the 4 years I have been involved (some say obsessed) with Barbe Soccer and that is including Ashley Boutte. Both with great speed and each will score tons of goals. The 2 midfield's (Daughdril and Plummer) play extremely unselfish soccer. Tons of control in the middle of the field. The big question mark going into the season for Barbe is replacing an All State Sweeper on defense and without a doubt Barbe has found one. This early in the season Anne McAtee is playing better than the All State Sweeper we had last year and will only get better. New keeper Chaumont is getting better and better each game and has yet to be tested in the 3 matches Barbe has played. Next up is St Louis on Tuesday and this is usually one of the biggest games for both teams since both teams are made up of girls that have played together on the same club team for year. Anyone in Lake Charles should make it out to this one and see the new improvements to the Barbe Soccer Complex. Truly first class complex and the best in the State. So how is this saders1fan??

Woodlawn 1 Tara 0
Woodlawn had plenty of shot opportunites but it hard to get past Tara's goalkeeper, Lana. She is an awesome goalie. Goal came late in second half and was a shot to the far post from the left side.
