The score was
Sulphur 2 Woodlawn 0
Both goals came in first half. First goal came on a follow-up after a deflection by goalie and second goal came on a rocket shot that hit the top post and got a favorable bounce. No score in second half.

No fields were deemed dangerous. The SJ coach initiated this by saying that he was worried that the fields would be dangerous with the latest rains and that he did not want to risk injuries right before his District games, especially when he has 3 games next week. Mt. Carmel just agreed to reschedule. If you are curious call the SJ coach to verify.

Nov. 27 @ Covington
Hahnville 4 Covington 3
First half sees game go back and forth in the midfield, Hahnville gets a few opportunities from crosses, can find the back of the net. Covington attacks with well played thru balls by the forwards, many caught offsides. Hahnville gets a run up the right wing nearly midway thru the half, ball is crossed to one forward and redirected to the other forward who pushes it past the keeper. Remainder of the half sees Covington with more opportunities and a couple runs, but timely defense keeps them off balance. Hahnville goes up 2-0 on a well placed shot over the keeper's head from the center midfielder 25 yards out. Covington cuts the lead later in the half 2-1 when Hahnville defenders miss assignments on the forwards, keeper alters the shot but second forward cleans up the scraps.
Half time score 2-1 HHS
Second half was really intense with both sides having significant chances on goal. CHS goalie truly picked up her play and kept the Lady Lions in it. Hahnville extends the lead to 3-1 on another precise shot from the center mid. CHS adds their second goal later in the half when forward receives a thru ball and finishes, official indicates offsides and CHS appeals. Refs confer and determine HHS wing kept the player onside, 3-2 HHS. Hahnville extends to 4-2 lead minutes later when the left wing makes a run on goal from the midfield and finishes off the far post on a low shot. Near the 75th minute, CHS forward gets yet another breakaway and sends a rocket to the near post, HHS goalie goes full extension for an outstanding save. 37th minute, CHS forward dribbling in the box is fouled by HHS defender, awarded a PK. CHS midfielder puts it home to cut the HHS lead to 4-3 with 3 minutes to go. Final minutes play out with back and forth turnovers in the midfield.
Covington's goalie made many outstanding saves keeping them in it. HHS goalie made 3 truly exceptional saves in the second half to keep the Lady Tigers secure.
Exciting game by both squads.
Hahnville now 5-3-1 on the season.
JV game (Coaches agreed to play 20 min. halves)
HHS 5 CHS 0

STM vs AHS
should have been a 5-2 or 5-3 game AHS missed out on a free kick and a shot from the 18 that hit the goal post it was a rough game and i think the AHS trainer is still trying to figure out where all his players truly belong on the field
