Parkway lost to Loyola last night 2 - 1.
That makes us tied at the top with one loss each.

Parkway lost to Loyola last night 2 - 1. That makes us tied at the top with one loss each. But for seeding purposes for the playoffs a tie is decided by goal differential and you won the first game by 5-1 so Parkway would be seeded #1.

That's what I thought, but wasn't sure. By the way, the Lady Flyers played a top notch game that night. They have really come together well since our first meeting. Best of luck in the playoffs!

Best of luck in the playoffs! thanks, I thought it was a well played game by all involved. Loyola's defense has really gotten better and that was the biggest difference between the two games.

I just heard that they haven't decided yet how to determine the winner of the district. They might decide to play a tiebreaker game between Parkway and Loyola. That would be exciting.

Does anyone have any idea what the wildcard scenario looks like in this division? There doesn't seem to be a lot of people posting info for Division II

There will be only 2 wildcards, since with 7 district, 14 of the 16 playoff slots are already occupied by #1 & #2 teams. No telling which two 3rd place teams will get in, but probably one out of the Baton rouge district, and maybe North La.

As District 2 ends it will should be
1. Neville 2. St Fred's 3. West Ouachita 4. Wossman
Last game played last night in the wonderful cold wind with Neville winning 5-0 over St Fred's to seal up the district title.
Looks like we will play Loyola as the #2 team from District 1 looking at the brackets.

Anyone know of the standings for Districts 4-5-6-7? I am guessing from the records that Vand Cath is the champ of their district as they always are. But not sure about the others and see no real talk of those districts. St Michael and McKinley always field a solid team as does Opelousas. So just asking - thanks!
