It looks good to me, even though I do not know half of those teams and I have never seen them play. I do have a question for you. Calvary plays against NDesoto today (Sunday). If Ndesoto wins, both teams will be tie for 4th place. Calvary won the first game 6-1. Also Calvary has the hardest game ahead, vs. Menard @ Menard on Monday. How would it be decided which team moves on if there is no time left to play another game?

Good uestions by 11wolverines: How would it be decided which team moves on if there is no time left to play another game?
The total number of games played in this district 10. The best win-loss record moves on, in first second and third. Fourth place has to apply for wildcard position. If there is a tie for the win-losses among any two teams, the best individual win record over the opponent tied in overall record. The next step if there is a tie in that category would be coin toss to determine placement. The coin toss situation would need to be decided by the two schools involved. They would have to do this the last night of the season if they wish to get their information in to the LHSAA on time.
The next question is are the two teams in this tie situation prepared to handle the tie breaker should it become a coin toss?
This district is large and spread out over a large area of the north and central part of the state. District needs better system to determine issues such as this.

Thanks for the information. It makes sense. Since Calvary won the first match 6-1, North Desoto will need to win 7-0 (7 goals difference) to be 4th and be able to apply for a wild card, right? Anything is possible in this beautiful game.
I am going to be at the game today. The weather looks good, in the high 50's and dry.
I guess both teams will need to consider weather changes when scheduling their games for next season.

2nd and 3rd has not been decided yet in District 4. W. Felic and U High play this afternoon. Also, does District 8 have 4 or 5 teams. Is Fisher in or out. If they are in then District 8 will probably have an automatic wildcard (Fisher or Ecole Classique). Then it would be between Independence, Christian Life and Redemptorist getting the last 2 bids. I know Christian Life and Redemptorist have a couple of wins outside of district, does Independence have any wins?
Otherwise I agree with the brackets except wildcard from 8 plays 9-1 if Fisher is in district 8. And Cath PC plays either Independence or Christian Life. But then again, the LHSAA may think otherwise!

Borrowing from the boys' thread, here is a layout of the Division III playoff's with the districts listed. The number in the () is the latest state ranking. There will definitely be some interesting matchups.
1-1 (Opelousas Catholic) - WC (??) 5-1 (Runnels - 4-3 (West Feliciana) 3-1 (St. Louis #1) - WC (??) 2-2 (Ouchita Christian #9) - 8-2 (McGehee)
7-1 (ED White) - 2-3 (Bolton) 4-2 (U High) - 6-3 (Pope John Paul) 9-1 (Newman #5) - WC (??) 6-2 (Northlake Christian #10) - 8-3 (St. Martins)
2-1 (Menard #4) - 3-3 (Episcopal of Acadiana) 1-2 (Glenmora) - 3-2 (Catholic of New Iberia #3) 4-1 (Catholic of Pointe Coupee) - WC (??) 7-2 (St. Charles) - 5-3 (Parkview)
6-1 (STA #6) - 1-3 (Bye) 5-2 (Episcopal of BR) - 9-3 (Ben Franklin #8) 8-1 (Country Day) - WC (??) 9-2 (Sacred Heart #2) - 7-3 (Riverside)
Wild Card Candidates (District) Likely: Ursuline (#7), Calvary Baptist, Possibles: winner of Ecole and Fisher. One of these has at least one district win. Just not reported on this site. One of the following: Christian Life or Redemptorist. Independence does not have any wins to the best of my knowledge.

De La Salle and Lusher can't make it............only 4th place teams are eligible. Lusher and De La Salle would finish 5th right? (Sacred Heart, Newman, Ben Franklin, Ursiline). Ursiline will get the Wilcard.
Sounds like Independence is out if they dont have any wins at all.

What is good to see is #1 St Louis, #2 Sacred Heart, #3 (many think should be Newman, and #4 CHSNI are all in different brackets. We could see (but rarely do) the top 4 seeds make the semi's. Just worked out this year by luck.

Chspc,
You are correct. De La Salle and Lusher would be 5th place. brackets changed to reflect that. Good catch.
