The following is copied from the LHSAA.org website:
"6. Home Team The team on the Top of the bracket will be home in Even years (2008 is an Even year)"
If you look at the brackets it seems in the second round that the team on the bottom has been getting the home team slot when traveling is equal.
What am I missing?

cajunref-
If you look at rule 18.11.1.2 it states that the tiebreaker determination on home or away states that top of bracket is home on odd years and bottom of bracket is home on even years.

it was explained over on the boys page that for the second round they look at who has traveled the furthest and the most recently.

Traveling the furthest is not in the equation. Home team will be team who traveled last, if that is the same then who has traveled most. If that is the same bottom team is home this year.
