SJA's coach arranged for a trip to Houston's Reliant Stadium last night to watch the mens national teams play Me'-hee-keaux. It was a terrific match that ended in a 2-2 tie. What an environment!! Over 70,000 for a futbol match, 98% were boisterously cheering for our friends down south, which made me consider a number of issues that are more suited in the socio-political realm. But enough of that!! We had a blast. Some of our girls even participated in an impromptu 3-on-3 tourney on some grass outside the stadium. Leah Aultman scored in the 2nd minute -- LOL! But talk about foot work -- wow. In any event, we got back to BR at 3:30 this morning. Attached I'm going to both download a pic and provide a link to a photo gallery from the Houston Chronicle that got a shot of 3 of our Red Dawgs cheering. Hopefully, this pic will come through on your end. images.chron.com/photos/2008/02/06/9900185/600xPopupGallery.jpg
