They are trying to get us a field reservation earlier in the day. From what we understand, their rec soccer has started. We thought we were playing at 10:00 am, but it is an ACT test day. Hopefully they will get us scheduled earlier in the day. As for playing on Saturday, it gives us the opportunity to play without having to take our girl's out of school for another whole day.

Mom, Saturday is not a problem at all, but 8 pm?? Will the match not be played at St. Michael's High School? If so where?

Game will be played at Burbank fields. 8 pm doesn't thrill me either, that puts us back home really really late! Hopefully they will get a field earlier.

it was a tough fought game. I believe parkway controled mid well but didn't win the 5050 balls. #17 and #3 worked great together, but had trouble finding the back of the net. As for their defense #7 is super fast and always knows where to go with the ball. Way to go parkway. You did great this season. Its been fun practicing next to yall.

Congratulations to our Lady Panthers on a great run through the season and playoffs. Hold your heads high and be proud of your selves! Good luck to our 5 seniors in whatever they pursue next year. I know at least one of them is going on to play college ball so soccer will continue. As a senior parent, It has been a lot of fun watching those 5 for the past 4 years at Parkway, and most of them even before that in Cabosa! Good luck to next year's team, the Lady Panthers will be in my heart forever.

Cards you said it right. I had just left another field to watch the end of the game, and did not see a bad game called. I did see the incidental hand ball, but according to FIFA the rule pertaining to "handling the ball" did not apply to a ball kicked into a players hand. If the center ref was the worse you have ever seen, then you must be watching some really outstanding refs. About time management, I think I saw the ref give a count down with his hands at the end of the periods. The teams just failed to get the ball in play on time. Perhaps the teams did not manage time well. Besides if the ref checks on an injured player then he stops the watch, did you stop yours when both girls were hit in the head by a kicked ball.

for a semi final game with a score of 0-1 in OT, it was as good as it should have been. I have seen both teams play, but not against each other. And from what I remember from watching parts of their games it should have been close, as it was. After checking with a friend from BR, the ref who did the game has done some of my childs game and he is not a local ref and is quite good. From my perspective he does not call a biased game. I dod not like all of his calls [when they are against our team] but he is usually correct.

some of his calls were a lil harsh, and the game was VERY loose. but about the fans they were def. less than a foot from the feild. i did not hear curse words towards the players, but to the parkway fans yes. a s.m. "gate worker" kicked a parkway fan out because he was shouting towards the ref. everyone around him was shouting at the ref, including me. but she sent the black fan back home(he was black)haha.
