It was tentatively scheduled (should Newman win their semi) on Sunday between the coaches that the boys game would be played on saturday. we were told that Newman did not want to play both games on same day. As per LHSAA, if the schools cannot reach an agreement on a time and date then the game will be played on the last possible date and by 3:00 pm. So the terrible weather had nothing to do with the scheduling of the game.

Newman is a geat soccer team, with class players, parents and coaches. They don't need to win a game by limiting fan base. Keep the game on the field, not on this post. May the best team win tonight!

Hetherto; in relation to the aforementioned game against / ergo - between class players, parents and coaches, yadayadayada.... has, sadly enough, come to a subsequent end. Saints 1; Greenies 0.

Big step for the Lady Saints, who always seemed to stumble at Newman.

# 24 is Rhegan Wollerman, senior center mid. # 8 is Layne Ezzell, senior outside mid. I agree, both of them were very composed and played well. St. Louis's sweeper had an outstanding game.

This was one of the best high school girls games, or high school games, for that matter, that I have ever been a part of. i agree, #24 was a good player, but newman just didn't seem to generate many scoring opportunities and that's what haunted them this game.#1, the sweeper for st. louis, was a rock back there and didn't allow much to get behind her by limiting newman's counters. congrats to newman on a good season and good luck to st. louis. This would've been a great championship game

All I know is that although Newman is a very good team, the saints were well up for this game. They had strong players all throughout the field (#1, #8,#6). This was a very much deserved win, and I hope to see them go all the way this year. GO LADY SAINTS!
