If a player has received a 'hard' red card in a district game, will that player be allowed to play in the next district contest? Will he/she jeopardize the school's eligibility, and result of said contest? Whose responsibility is it, to report such a descrepancy?

my (possibly wrong) understanding is that this is up to the district and the school AD. Some schools are more strict than others. Just as some coaches are stricter than others when a player is shown a yellow for dissent etc, and they send the kid straight back in: what message is sent?

hiogh school rules do not require a player to sit a match, but as furriner mentioned, many schools/districts have their own rules about making a player sit. Most that have this in place do not require them to sit the next match, just "a" match, so most pick a non-district game for them to miss. I've seen some that will add the player to the JV roster so they miss a JV match. Not really much point in this. Both schools involved in the game must file a report with LHSAA concerning the send off, as do the officials. On the school side, it must be signed by the coach, principal, and possibly the AD (not sure on the AD). A copy of the disqualification form is in the LHSAA website under forms and lists who must sign. For the officials, the center fills out a form, it is sent to the assingotr, who signs it and sends it to LHSAA.

anyone who has served in the role of high school assignor, which i have, gets very knowledgeable of the rules. Do it wrong, and your association gets blacknalled by LHSAA in the playoffs...

It become a bit comfusing when switching from rec to hs, to premier, to rec, to hs. That can cause a bit of confusion for alot of refs.
