C'mon Lsucks, I demand my 2008 Jesuit rhyme! The season is about to start, and we need to know how good they are going to be.
I'm kinda embarrassed to say it, but lsucks' politics are not totally out of line w/mine. Must be that 7 years of indoctrination by the liberal LSU profs.

lsucks,
Using the same criteria, I doubt Obama would fare any better. If we are looking to career politicians to set moral and ethical examples for the rest of us, we are looking at the wrong examples.
I will say this, as a Catholic, I could not vote for Obama for the reason that the man voted to support partial birth abortions. The most 'innocent' of all are the unborn and the just born.
The fact that he befriended racists and has Marxist leanings didn't score any points either.
The biggest problem we have politically in this country is that there are no real differences between the two main parties...
They just "disagree" where the money should be spent.
Gotta give you points on the creative spin you put on McCain and the Constitution in general though.
I'd definitely have to agree with you on #5.

1. US Military The biggest socialist experiment in the history of the world. 5% of the annual American GDP goes to funding this massive industrial machine whose fight for self-preservation has gotten America in several illegal and immoral wars. Eisenhower's warning was spot on. No where in the Constitution is a standing army permitted, and all of the Founding Fathers of this nation spoke out vigorously against having a standing army. 2. Public school and universities. Not in the Constitution 3. Interstate highway system See #2 4. US Postal Service See #2 5. Tax payer subsidized building of professional sports stadiums. The height of Socialist Republican folly. They believe that cities and states should foot 75% of the bill to build these luxurious, unnecessary stadiums for the ultra-wealthy. The average wealth of an NFL owner today is $1.2 billion. And they want tax payer money! And the Republicans are ALWAYS the ones to fight for this form of upper class welfare. The list goes on and on, and I invite all of you out there to add to this already fascinating list. The truth of this matter is that Republicans already support socialism. But their form of socialism is extremely selfish. They think other peoples' money should be used on services that THEY themselves use. But when people come up with programs for the very poor, essential services that are guaranteed by the Constitution's mandate to protect life, liberty, and property, the Republicans get up in arms and start screaming, "SOCIALISM! SOCIALISM! SOCIALISM!" What hypocrites. None of these meet the criteria for being socialist. Take for instance, highway and road building. This does not redistribute wealth. In fact, they equally benefit all who are taxed, because even if you do not drive on a road built by federal funds, you benefit from it by receiving goods from producers at a cheaper costs.
