Sometimes the better team does not win. I am not sure why SSA's coach sat a few of his key players for so long - I know all are key players but I am referring to the Game Changers. SSA had a few set plays that had those players been in the game at that time it could have made a difference and score would've could've should've been 3-1 (yes I know Jim Mora). #22 for LHS had the best shot of all championship games played both boys and girls. That was an amazing goallllll!! Statistacly speaking Lafayette had the favor coming into the game,,,,the only thing that wasnt in Lafayette's favor was the coaches ranking,,,,but the 1 versus 2 seeding was based on a regular season game that probably not all people knew was that,,,that game was not played by all starters on the Lafayette side..... A little different with all cylinders firing! What a loyal fan you are!!! Now he says it was the coaches fault!!! Did you not see the awesome stamina of the Lafayette starting lineup!! A lot of subs and starters sitting out means they were tired! I think,,, no we know who the better team was all year dude,,,,,

I saw WWL-TV's video of the goal on their 10 o'clock newscast last night--you might be able to find it on their website.
Congrats again to Lafayette--they came out well in the 2nd half to win it with a spectacular individual effort on the goal. I thought SSA was fairly seeded but Lafayette got a deserved win.

well said aliceshoe1. I thought going onto the playoffs one of the top 3 seeds (Font.,SSA, and LHS)were the cream of the crop. These three teams could play each other 5 games each and split the games but in the end LHS won the final game and beat the other two (last games of the season) heads up to win it all. For anyone to question coaching decisions at this time of the year is truly ridiculous. These two coaches that were in the finals are truly talented and know their teams. Hitting post 3 to 4 times (SSA) is unfortunate so how can anyone say subbing played a part in SSA's loss. I will say it again that aliceshoe1 post says it all. By the way just ask the New Orleans Saints, on their way to the Superbowl a lil luck definately went their way!
