As I said earlier, I hope this doesn't get ugly... After the goal the AHS keeper went after a SPS player that got the ball from the goal. To avoid conflict the SPS player dropped the ball only to be closely followed by another AHS player.
The AR almost ran across the field to break it up before anything started.

AHS #12 earns yc for taking down a SPS player in a questionable 50-50 play.

SPS given free kick just outside the 18 for clear push of a player that was a good 5 feet off the ball. Free kick goes well over the goal.

Then the keeper turned around and had words. Funny how one sided this is!

Yes the AHS fans were very unsportsmanlike during the semi against St. Louis. I can see it easily getting out of control And again...one sided reporting! During the St Louis game, one if the Saint Louis fans stood up and yelled "Lafayette trash" - then the exchange started between BOTH stands!

AHS corner comes on the ground directly to a SPS player that clears it up. AHS player with a clear flop in the box after his coach tells him to.

Another SPS PK after an AHS player clearly takes the SPS player down in the box. #17(?) takes the PK but it is blocked.

The exchange during the previous game happened after AHS fans would yell and cheer after a dirty foul on the field. No one should ever cheer when dirty fouls are comitted.

Let's just all agree that parents, players and coaches go a little overboard at times and try to keep the thread about the play on the fields and not who embarrassed themselves the most with crazy comments from the sidelines.

Reading this I can only shake my head, totally bias. But congrats to both teams and to the rams for only giving up one goal after the red. This was a great weekend of soccer, great tournament.

Sounds like a visual feast... why were the ridiculous "pajama white home team" rules not followed? I swear the NFHS board that passed that rule ought to be jailed.
The all-white home jerseys at the holiday cup were depressing, especially after the first muddy game of the day.

I stood next to the AHS fan side and did not hear anything out of the ordinary. Keep in mind AHS players and fans were out in the rain and cold or a bus/car all day while SPS had the bonus of being able to go home. Being wet and cold will make most people a bit ornery.
