We need to change the name of this thread from "St Pauls/Jesuit like Alabama/Clemson" to "St Pauls/Jesuit like Alabama/LSU."

You guys do realize your going back and forth about high school coaches and soccer right?LOL! You all need to get a life. I’ve heard just about every coach at some point say something to another teams player. And both Hubie and Moser are ones I have heard in the past. They get caught in the heat of the moment like everyone else.

That is high school soccer, right. Which are you, the pot or the kettle? Sorry, it was in the Newman/Northlake Christian thread.

From a totally non-biased prospective, just reading this thread, it seems as though the St. Paul's bias in Louisiana is alive and well. Everyone seems to be against Jesuit, yet there seems to be no reason. Sure its fans rushed the field, what would any other high school kids do if their team won in such dramatic fashion. Everyone needs to realize that this game means more to these kids than anything right now, it sure did when I played. From a biased prospective, I hope everyone calls last year a fluke, theres nothing better than playing as an underdog. What I truly think is going on is St. Paul's is scared. They've finally been beaten, they've been proven to be mortal after all, and everyone, especially their head coach, is freaking out about it. I for one love it. As the sun sets on one dynasty, it shall shine upon the other. And if that scares you, St. Paul's, or Moser, good. We'll see you on the pitch. Did you love how SPS was so afraid of Jesuit, they beat them 3-0. Fear breeds desperation and that is how Jesuit played last night. Desperate to hang on to the title. Chasing the game. Relatively no creativity. No answer for SPS. How was your view of the sunset, because the sunrise today was magnificent. it’s a highschool soccer game..... calm down. St. Paul’s fans and players didn’t gain immortality or the ability to talk to animals.

If you do not like my opinion, so be it. Your buddy, jaystothelaff, made a couple of trash talkin' comments and I responded. You have been cordial and sincere when posting and I do not always meet that goal. I stated in another thread how Jesuit did not give up. The early goal most likely changed the way Jesuit needed to play and the same can be said for St. Paul's. However, jaystothelaff needed a sarcastic response to remind him how fickle high school soccer can be and not to jump to conclusions based on high school boys soccer play. As my momma used to say, "You're only as good as your last loss", and both teams suffered losses this season. Another poster wrote how this season is over and everyone is now undefeated. I like that optimism.
