St Amant 2 Tara 1 Score is no where near indicative of the game as almost the entire game was spent in Tara's half of the field. Tara scored on defensive misplay 7 minutes into the game, and then got pushed into their end of the field where they stayed. St Amant took LOTS of shots, but none seemed to find their way through the forest of defenders in front of the goal. 15 minutes before half Gators frustration boiled over with two yellow cards and another verbal warning--prompting Coachray to lose his regularly calm demeanor and remove 5 starters from the game. Subs and freshman finished the half--1-0 at the break. After a halftime motivational speech that showed the St Amant players the extent of Coachrays vocabulary , the Gators came out with the corresponding fire lit under them and pounded the Tara goal. Sebastian Torrado finally broke through and scored his 17th of the season on an assist from Tyler Melancon, and Jake Garcia scored off a corner kick for the game winner. St Amant dominated possession throughout the game, and the ball only crossed midfield once in the second half. Props to Taras coach for trying to pack it in and hold onto the lead--his kids did a great job, just too many shots allowed against a high scoring team. St Amant is now 9-2-2, 6-1 in district 4 D1

University 5 - Episcopal 0. Score IS indicative of the game for this one. UHS went up quickly with two PKs by Brandon Mong and Michael Gvoich (the first call was questionable). Michael and Brandon added one goal each before half-time, making it 4-0. UHS started to sub players in the late first half, and Michael made a hat trick in the second half. UHS defense was solid, as usual, allowing EHS few scoring opportunities. UHS' record is now 18-5-1 with district III-4 record 4-0. EHS' district record is 3-2.
