But if Vandy moves up, that ony further weakens DII. Seems to me DII either needs new teams (taking 3A in) or needs to merge into DI or III.

yall keep saying combine d2-d3 that matnot be a bad ideal the only team in d3 that could play with vch i st louis that really didn't play anybody except laff which give st louis credit on a great year they deserve it. cograts to them and vch , also laff need keep their heads up because everone knows they are d1 champs. a few said st martins up their but really come on vch beat them 4-1 or 5-1 and had subs in midway in 2'nd have so really the only comp in d3 is st louis

If 3a went into D II, you'd add St Louis, Teurlings, West Feliciana, ED White, Parkview, de la Salle and others. That would give Vandy some competition.
Newman and St Martin's are 2a, so they stay in DIII.

I hear ya. Puffing up D2 would hurt D3. Looks like we got 1 division too many.

You say that DII isn't weak but Vandy rolls through it. You said the top FOUR teams are Vandy, ASH, and STM. That's 3 teams. I'm going to be honest and let everybody read it. If we played STM 10 times this past season we MAYBE would have won 3 of those games total. There's no way around it, DII is weak. I agree however that taking Vandy out of the picture doesn't make it stronger, but it does level the playing field a lot which would mean it'd be more competitive. I've said earlier that the only way to make things better is to improve the programs at each school. Please stop trying to prove why we should be so highly ranked, if I had a chance to rank I would be 99% likely to put STM over us because they were better. Because STM consistently put out a good team and have a a great program that we do not do as consistently. In my mind STM should still be 2nd regardless of how far they made it in the playoffs. Also, you state your opinion and when somebody completely rips it to pieces you agree with them, your points are not well made. And you have to agree that Vandy are the best bet to play against good DI teams because we lost to the best one 5-1.
