Klein High in Texas lost in the playoffs, so St. Louis should move up to #1 for the final national poll.

They must not have all the stats from the major schools in each state, becasue they have St. Louis as #2 overall with 133 goals scored this year.
Lafayette scored 142.....if you take away the Jesuit game, they still scored 140 and they aren't on the list....They also posted 21 shutouts.
That would make Lafayette #1 in goals scored and #3 in shutouts.

It is up to the schools/coaches to submit the stats. It says so right on the website. If your school's info isn't there, discuss it with your coach.

Does anybody know what happened to www.nscaa.com ? The rankings for all high school sports seemed to have disapeared when the website was redesigned.

Where is it at on the site? Do you have to be a member or something to view it?

St. Louis is the Winter #1. Other states have Fall and/or Spring soccer. They have separate rankings.
I'm sure it is weather related further north. Also in southern states more of the same athletes play both futbol & football.
I doubt St. Louis will get any money for this, but Jason Oertling might have a little leverage if he wants a raise.
NSCAA seems to want to rank coaches by # of victories & winning %. Encourage your school's AD or coach to submit this info. The sport is newer here than in some places but it would show some good records.

Am I to believe that the guy who got to 300 wins probably as fast as anyone in the state, tied the record for state championsips as fast as anyone in the state, at a small private school, in a small city where there isn't a massive talent pool (after all there's only one other respectable team within 50 miles, Barbe), doesn't know how to develop talent? Are the Lake Charles recreational coaches that good? How many great talents in any sport will you get in a AAA school where 70% of the students graduate TOPS eligible?
Soccer is the # 4 or 5 sport at best in every school in Lake Charles. At St. Louis it might be # 3, slipping ahead of baseball. If so it is because of "Coach O".
Maybe somebody just resents that his program is better than theirs. Maybe he made a lot of guys with average to good talent play well enough together to beat everybody they faced.
In the thread about top Juniors somebody said it was easy for Rennie Walker to have so many shutouts because he didn't face that many shots. Maybe "O" made the defense that good. I guarantee Ross wasn't playing sweeper. Somebody got good enough to play there.
Now that that rant is finished, he should have an easy time with the person who coordinates the $$$ for 3 reasons: 1. He's got those championships; 2. He's the AD at a school that has made the playoffs in every team sport this year; and best of all 3. The person in charge of the $$$ is his mom, Karen Oertling.
Now, everybody have a nice day.
