What we would all like to know is ... How did Dutchdown score on Jesuit? Could this provide some glimpse into how to approach a match versus the Blue Jays?

I saw the second half of this game. D-town absolutely dominated it...I don't think they were playing THE jesuit team, however. I believe (though I'm not certain, just going by what I heard after I got there in the second half) that Jesuit made a huge lineup change after going up 3-0.

The goal was scored on a PK against the backup goalkeeper.

The goal we scored was in the first half with the starters on the field. The score was 2-0 and a quick counter gave us a breakaway type run at goal...the attacker got position on the last defender and the keeper, the starting keeper, came out at the attacker and some how in the process of us taking the shot on goal against the charging keeper the keeper committed a foul in the box giving us the PK. To start the second half it was clear Jesuit had made some lineup changes....how many?...no clue....after we had a clear advantage to start the half....two clean jerseys playing defense went off and two dirty ones came back on...about half way through another 4-5 came on for Jesuit...none of that really matters...the rest of us cycle through 15-16 players ourselves....we went through 5 freshmen in this very game...Jesuit is good...no one needs to make excuses for them on why they gave up a goal...it doesn't downplay their "greatness".
As far as a game summary goes for the Dutchtown/Jesuit game...first few minutes...Jesuit took about 4 shots....a ball was served, I believe it as a pass...not that it matters, from the outside as a cross...it found the back of the net in the far upper 90 as the keeper was backpedaling and just tipped it...that was the 4th minute....somewhere around the 15 minute...a "scrum" of many players just inside the box..saw an attacker trying to juke a defender and shoot...the defender slips on the "excellent footing" but takes all the power off the shot so that it is just dribbling toward a corner...the keeper had reacted to the shot and the deflection now has it on a different course...he lays out but can't reach it and one more defender misses it as it "rolls" ever so slowly inside the post....one of the "agonizing" goals that are literally in slow motion. Jesuit created those opportunities with lots of ball movement to the wings and services to the 18....2-3 minutes later our goal was scored as mentioned above. And with about 3 minutes or so to go in the half....an attacker dropped the ball from the end line to about the PK mark for someone to finish. All of this happened in the first half of play...their third goal wasn't until just before half...no major lineup changes were made in the first half by Jesuit.

On the yellow card the starting keeper was forced to come out of the game, and the backup had to go on for the PK. So the goal was scored on the backup goalkeeper.

the PK Dutchtown got was very lucky because the DTOWN player ran into the jesuit keeper as he was reacting to the shot and the keeper took the worse of the hit..........and then the keeper gets a yellow card for the striker ramming into him.........

Didn't the keeper grab the D-town player?
