OK here is how i see this one. acadiana has played in a tougher dist. and has two wins over lafayette high. catholic doesn't have any impressive wins this year. that being said acadiana is having a very hard time scoring. this will be the main concern on tuesday. i think acadiana's defence will be OK they just need to find a way to score. coach lou needs to put his key people in the right positions to have a chance to win this game. everyone who follows this team knows what i am talking about. that being said i think acadiana is the better team and should take this one in another very hard fought low scoring game. GOOD LUCK RAMS!! i'll be there watching!!

Catholic played in a decent district. They had Dutchtown who wasn't that bad. I don't know much about Acadiana but i know that Catholic is a very strong team. They are excellent all around the ball and with the amount of talent that they have on that team i think Catholic will take this game 2-0. But again i know very little about Acadiana, but i still think it will be an excellent match. When and where is this game.

biome22 catholics dist has ONE count it ONE team still in the playoffs. acadiana has three!! there is no way you can convience me that catholics dist is that good. i do agree that catholic is a very good team that is why i said it will be a very good low scoring game.

cro, lafayette are the two other teams still in the playoffs. hey don't get me wrong. i think this game is a toss up. i think acadiana is the more talented team but if acadiana still has a tough time scoring they will lose this game. they are going to have to find their offence in this game or go home.

It should be a good game. Acadiana and Catholic High have had some classic games over the last several years (some of the cleanest, hard fought, "pretty" high soccer games I have witnessed) and they all have been decided by a goal. Catholic has only lost 3 times this year, all by one goal and all to teams still in the playoffs. They have been playing better and better as the season progressed. That said, I believe Catholic has been knocked out of the playoffs by a District 3 team for the last 3 years and all these losses have been on the road (but Catholic has beaten District 3 teams in the playoffs during this time when played in Baton Rouge). Therefore, history seems to indicate Acadiana may have the edge. (but this is a new year, so who knows???)

there is no doubt that acaiana played in a tough district, but if catholic can move the ball effectively as they have of late and play solid defense, i'm giving the bears the edge 2-1.

ok spectator, the past is the past. these are two different teams than those years. i agree with goatman, acadiana does need to pick up the offense to win this game. it is a very good matchup and should be a good game. i predict the winner to go to the finals and i think the winner will be catholic by one goal, 2-1 probably. (not gonna be a shutout, both teams are too good)

esungoal4, I agree with your prediction. I picked Catholic to beat Acadiana in my pre playoff predictions and agree with your 2-1 score. I just hope history does not repeat itself.

You also have to take the fact that Acadiana hasn't gave up a goal in the last 5 games. They are playing extremely well right now. It's just their offence.

acadiana has a strong defense and a decent midfield. If acadiana plays their game and does not play kick ball and puts the ball in the net. Acadiana will come out on top.
