What happened at the game against lafayette with the cheerleaders??? OK... Carencro in the past only had cheerleaders show up for senior night. they helped put on a big production. not till last year...late season...our playoff run has cheerleaders been showing up. No this year they go to everygame. Last year we sort of complained about it. But its not our "choice". The cheerleader sponser has the cheerleaders attend events to stay on the squad. It just part of their recommendation. Have yall ever met the man in charge? ...try telling him no, yall can't cheer. They support the soccer team, in a way the soccer team has to support them back by letting them cheer. Its just rude. and dude... "only in the cro is this type behavior expected" whats that suppose to mean. Here in carencro we have pride of our town. don't degrade us...b/c comeaux has never made it past the first round in playoffs... I remember you making a similar comment about our town last year...don't you live in carencro? I hope your not making that a harsh joke. I think your joking...i hope. Because we are friends and I don't want to look at you next time and think, "dude he thinks I behave differently than everyone because I from carencro" with a sad droopy face. 1. Carencro is different from any place on this earth, not in a good or bad way, just different 2. I technically live in breaux bridge/lafayette. I just have a cro phone number 3. I believe we did just as well as you guys my senior year. what como did last year and from here on out i have nothing to do with 4. It was a joke 5. Cheerleaders at soccer games = gay 6. Chase talley is my idol and what to grow up to be just like him! 7. Whay can't we be friends, why can't we be friends, why can't we be friends...

heres fat's key points to the game. please feel free to agree, disagree, or expand on any of these.
1. The first goal will be crucial. Neither team is used to playing from behind. How the other team responds to being behind will be a huge factor in the game.
2. Cro's Midfield. LHS dominated possession at midfield in the cro/lhs game. In order to beat Jesuit, Cro must play better at midfield.
3. Jesuit's backline. I have not seen Jesuit play, but the scoutting report i got said that Jesuit's backline was kind of slow. Carencro uses a very fast, very leathal counter attack. If Jesuit's backline is as slow as i've heard, they will have a tough time beating Cro.
4. Field conditions. If it is wet and rainy, Jesuit will have a large advantage. It will slow down the speedy Cro team. It will also mean more balls will be played through the air. From what i hear Jesuit is a tall team. This is obviously would be another Jesuit advantage.
5. Cro Cheerleaders. From what i hear....those girls are ruthless.

hey fatkid who told you jesuits back line is slow. dude i think they have only given up 3 or 4 goals all year. you can't do that with a slow back line. that being said i do think cro attacks very fast. they don't spend a lot of time with the ball it is all one or two touches and attack. it won't be the speed of the players jesuit has to look out for, but the speed of play,(and there is a differnce).

do we not think that jesuit has seen a quick speed of play before? they have played brother martin, rummel, st pauls, vandy, st thomas more, newman, caddo magnet i think they have played against quick teams so i dont really think jesuit will focus on anything particular in carencro i think they will just play their game they are 29-0 why would they change anything?

i don't think they well change anything as well. but i promise they haven't seen the speed of play cro has. one more thing i don't think they have seen a team that finishes like cro. they make the most of there opportunities. it will be a great game. can't wait to see it.

I don't know what all the talk about the Cro cheerleaders is for.....because honestly the cheer the boys do before the game and the volume level that goalie gets to at the end of that cheer could put any cheerleading squad to shame.
I say Cro wins it....it will be close though.....and it will come down to which team's defense can hold off the attack....

Brother Martin played Carencro earlier this year and from what I remember I don't think Jesuit will have any problems with the Bears. Jesuit 3-0. Jesuit is relentless and they feel like they own every possesion. It is their ball on their field and that is an attitude that is hard to beat.

I sat on the sidelines of the Carencro Bro Martin game earlier. And I will let you know this is a totally different Cro team than the 8:00 in the morning Carencro team that you saw.
And as for cheerleaders....There will be a Carencro Alumni meeting at Big Easy from 12 till game time. We call it pre-game... we are bringing back the Original Chaos Committee. For those unaware of the Chaos Committee. We put the "care" in cro. Ok that was gay. but Yeah.

Lafayette dominated possession and had more shots than Carencro. Jesuit is loads better at possessing the ball and they finish chances.
Jesuit is a team that notoriously starts the playoffs slow and pick up speed as they are going. Once they get going, you have to be able to match talent for talent with them. Carencro can't do that.
Cro has a good counter-attack, but you can't counter if you never win the ball from them and Jesuit (as I said earlier) is better at possessing the ball than any team Cro has played all year.
I think Thomas will get a goal against Jesuit, but it's consolation as Jesuit dominates the Bears.
I call Jesuit 3-1 (and could very well be 6-1 if they don't miss opportunities.)

I have to agree that this game will be what defense can hold the attack the best. Both teams have not had much trouble putting the ball in the back of the net with cro putting in 10 in the playoffs and jesuit putting in 6. Also the defense on both side have been holdin it down with cro only lettin 1 in and jesuit havin a goose egg still. I think both offenses will put in 1 goal and wat ever team score first will take it 2-1.

"is it that big of a deal that carencro had there cheerleaders out there?....."
i was at the game and i played soccer for LHS but graduated a few years back. I didn't mind Cro having cheerleaders as it made for a better atmosphere but just some of the cheers they were doing were just rude and totally classless.. " na na na good bye" with about 5 mins left and " something something something we're cro something something 2-0 you know" referring to the score of the game. I mean honestly that was just not cool. As for the lil circle thing Cro does thats expected since they do it every game so i dont see a problem doin that to get pumped up. Back when i played we said a prayer before the game and huddled up for a 1 2 3 lions and thats all we needed and we won state so each team is different in their pregame rituals. anyway i think if jesuit attacks from the midfield then they will win this game, should be a good one tho

If Cro can score on Jesuit it will be a story in itself. Jesuit has allowed less than 5 goals the entire season. Most of the goals were scored when the field was very wet and muddy. Does anyone think that Jesuit doesnt know about Thomas. They will have him marked tightly and i doubt he will get that many touches. The only way Cro will be able to score will be on a PK. Jesuit 2-0
