Why don't we add some more fuel to the fire. National Rankings updated yesterday. Here are the cites for regional and national rankings: nscaa.com/hsRes.php?it=1084 and nscaa.com/hsRes.php?it=1062. Jesuit moved to No. 2 in the country and Carencro broke into the top ten being ranked at 9 in the country. THIS IS FREAKING AWESOME!! Should be a great game. I copied the rankings below. i just realised that i left out what could be a major factor in the game.
Cards. I'm not sure about Jesuit, but i know Cro is a pretty scrappy team. They like to mix it up. Cro and Jesuit for that matter will have to avoid the Red Cards. This is true for almost any game, but i think it will be especially important in this one. Both teams will come out fired up and aggressive. An early stupid foul could mean the difference in this one.
And as for my previous post about Jesuits defensive speed.....i wasnt saying Jesuit a slow team; I just said that Carencro has an extreamly fast offense. In order for Jesuit to win they cannot play slow in the back. Carencro's forwards have made some pretty fast defenses look slow.
perhaps i worded it wrong and i appologise.

Fatkid, you're right-on about the cards. Where is the ref crew going to be from?? .

Carencro may have their cheerleaders there but so will Jesuit. The Jesuit cheerleaders were at the BM/Jesuit game. As for speed, Carencro do not underestimate the speed of the Jesuit team. Both teams will be very fast on the ball. As for the cards, it will depend on how physical the refs will allow them to play. If the refs let them play, it will get rough. If the refs keep control and call it even both ways, it will be an awesome game. Any Carencro players that play club ball against Lakeview will know what to expect. Fast and physical! Should prove to be a great game. I'm not sure who is gonna take this one.

Jesuit may look slow in the back compared to their other lines, but they are not slow. To say a team like Jesuit has not seen speed is sounding like a homey. I've only seen them play a couple of times, but that team kept their shape better than any team I've seen all year; that's one reason why they've given up only a handful of goals all year. They are a savvy bunch of players. They also use the whole field very well. I am not rooting for J, just the opposite, but they are a real solid team and it will be an upset if they go down.
As far as those national rankings go; knock yourself out if that turns you on. There is no good way to measure that in real life. That's all hype. All we really know is that these two teams are at the top of the heap in this state; nothing more, nothing less.

Carencro may have their cheerleaders there but so will Jesuit. The Jesuit cheerleaders were at the BM/Jesuit game. Enough with the freakin' cheerleaders already, can we have a show of hands by actual players who gives a crap one way or the other?? Will that affect your performance even a miniscule amount? I think not... Cheerleaders are an American sports tradition, so to even have any show up at a soccer game to me means that the sport is getting more recognition than in the past; misplaced though it may be, but recognition nonetheless. Just go with it, ignore the cheerleaders if they are annoying to you, and enjoy the spectacle on the field. On the other hand, there WAS the good question posed about which guys in the student body at Jesuit decided they would volunteer to be the cheerleaders (Bring It On!)....seems somehow wrong to me but then again I'm old...

relax guys. the whole cheerleaders thing is just fun. no one actually believes the cheerleaders will effect the game.
but just something to think about here. who would u rather meet late at night in a dark alley....mike tyson or the cro cheerleading squad.
i'm thinking i'd have a chance of getting away from tyson.

This cheerleader business is too funny. Yeah, I think I'm going to dish out my 6 bucks Friday night just to watch the Jesuit and Carencro cheerleaders "bring it on".

guys, as much as i would love to have the laugh of jesuit having an all guy cheerleading squad cheer for their soccer team, its just not the truth. all the catholic boy schools get the catholic girl schools to supply cheerleaders to games wearing the boys colors, along with the male cheerleaders of the boys school.
Maybe there should be a halftime show if both teams will have cheerleaders. im with lafayettedad, im intrigued by this notion of "bringing it on"

I wish I were closer to put up the 6 bucks but that's not gonna happen. A bit too far. I'm pulling for Cro to take out Jesuit. Seen both play and should be a great game.
The cheerleaders definitely do not effect the game but most definitely histerical to watch at a soccer game. There aren't any good soccer cheers!! Unless maybe Cro came up with some ....but Jesuit didn't. And by the way ... the Jesuit boy cheerleaders do look homey. Go watch
