I watched the first half of the Shreve-Rummel game. It was a good game played mostly in the middle of the field with few good opportunities to score. I thought Shreve played well in their first test of the year. The did a lot of good things in the middle of the field while not letting the Rummel forwards get loose. To me it was an even game at the half. I heard the final score was 1-1 with Rummel tying the score late. Shreve's central defender had a red card late in the game.
Keep up the good work Shreve and good luck in the rest of the tournament!

All the scores for Friday are updated on PAGE 3
In the SILVER DIVISION here are the "points leaders"
Group 1: Lafayette 14 pts, EA 17 pts **They play each other on Saturday
Group 2: Rummel 12 pts, Capt. Shreve 14 pts. **Teams tied head-to-head, Rummel has St. Amant and Shreve has University on Saturday
Group 3 and 4 (Cross Bracket play: TOP two in points advance): Jesuit has 18 pts and plays St. Michael's Saturday, Dutchtown has 10 pts and plays St. Thomas More, Baton Rouge has 9 points and plays St. Thomas Aquinas, St. Thomas More has 8 points plays Dutchtown, St. Thomas Aquinas has 8 points plays Baton Rouge - Wide open for SECOND in points depending on results of those two games.
In the PURPLE DIVISION here are the "points leaders"
Group 1: Parkway with 18 pts, Central left to play - should have no problem advancing
Group 2: East St. John and Redemptorist with 17 points each...head to head tomorrow.
Group 3 and 4 (cross bracket; top two in points advance): Terrebonne has 15 points and plays Zachary; Parkview Baptist has 13 points and plays Deridder; Jesuit JV has 18 points and plays Catholic High PC....Jesuit JV should go through...SECOND in points is a toss up by I'm leaning toward Terrebonne having the better chance.
All these results are "unofficial"...I just got in and quickly throught he points together. If you think you see an error with your team please post and I'll double check.

VERY PLEASED with the tournament today. My hopes are always to provide competitive games. In the SILVER Division the only team with the closest thing to a LOCK to get to the SEMIFINALS is Jesuit...everyone else has to come out and battle to try to get that last good result to help them get in...very competitive.
Same for the Purple Division...Parkway is the only team that looks like a "safe" bet to go through...everyone else has to come out and battle.

I was in Baton Rouge for Thanksgiving but I'm back home now. Glad to see Shreve is still playing well and got the 3-0 victory in their second game. Good luck tomorrow!
