I agree, the St. Louis B team is very good and it's easy to see how St. Louis is always one of the top teams in the state. If someone has the St. Louis B team on their schedule (Byrd at the showcase) you better not under estimate them......

I wonder if it will be the same B-team? When Caddo played them in Sulphur the A-team was idle. When Byrd plays them that won't be the case as the A-team is also in the tournament of course. Seems like I read a while back that St Louis starts about 5 or 6 juniors. If so, could these starting juniors also play on the B-team when available? My guess is that the B-team in the Showcase will be missing some of their stronger players and filling in with freshmen. Just a guess.

Newman is not at full strength. St. Pauls vs. Newman? Entitlement vs. Entitlement! On a good day.
St. Pauls has a tendancy to play down to their competition. The Newman team is a very good team when at full strength, but they are not there right now, that was a fluke.
Newman at full strength would give St. Pauls a run for their money but don't base the result of last weeks game as they are better that St. Pauls, (right now), and indicate they are weaker than Newman. Mandeville tied Newman at Dutchtown and when Newman is at full strength Mandeville has no chance. Mandeville beat St. Pauls twice last year, hence playing down to the competition.

ahh all sounds true, but idk, early in the season, no team is really at their best. Unless of course we are talking a/b LSU football

Newman at full strenght? EA beat them 1-0 in the Bayou Invitational and even if I think that Newman was a good team, I was not extremely impressed. Who are they missing right now?

Newman was missing 5 starters at Bayou. 3 football. 1 premier. 1 hurt.

If jesuit is ranked #2 then vandy should definately be ranked in the top 5 seeing as they tied 1. STM 2. Jesuit 3. St. Pauls 4.BM 5. Vandy I think this could easily be the top five with rummel and a few other schools making arguments to get in

i think you underestimate newman...they should definitely be in the top ten after beating st pauls without marcel chen in the lineup who had religious duties that day

because newman and dutchtown havent won anything besides that.. other teams have good wins and a "bad day" newman and dutchtown have average results then a good win..too inconsistant

i agree with tthenry's post except i would maybe put st. louis at 5 and vandy at 6 or 7. there is no way st. louis should be ahead of stm in the one above though.

i dont play for vandy or go to there school im only 18 so i dont have any kids that i know of but all im saying is if ur not trying to run this like the bcs vandy should be up there i didnt kno the results of st. louis's season now knowing this the most logical thing is 1.STM 2.St. Louis 3.Jesuit 4.St.Pauls 5.BM 6.Vandy
