"St. Pauls has a tendency to play down to their competition. The Newman team is a very good team when at full strength, but they are not there right now, that was a fluke. Newman at full strength would give St. Pauls a run for their money but don't base the result of last weeks game as they are better that St. Pauls, (right now), and indicate they are weaker than Newman.", quoted in an earlier post.
When is Newman going to be at full strength? Football ended 2 weeks ago, i am pretty sure NOSA's team that went to Cali finished at least 2 weeks ago.

First, I want to say I am not bias to either school in any way. I simply do not comprehend how people rank STM ahead of Jesuit. On similar opponents alone Jesuit has them crushed. STM loses to Oak Ridge 3-2, Jesuit beats them 4-2. STM beats BRHS 2-1, Jesuit pumbles them 4-0. *Supposedly* when Jesuit had their whole team they beat STM 1-0. *Supposedly* when they are missing 4 starters they lost to Jesuit 3-1. It is tough to call but until Jesuit loses to someone else, or STM has a big victory over someone I cannot put them ahead of Jesuit.

That is a great point. However, don't forget that STM beat Nolan Catholic of Dallas 4-2 and St. Thomas of Houston 2-1. I may be incorrect, but I believe Jesuit tied both of those teams. Of course those ties are without the "alleged" 4 starters. Its a tough to say who is the better team. Come play-off time, watch out for both.

Why is it that when one of these "Great sides" lose or draw, they are missing 4 or 5 of their starters.

Heres my top 10 1. STM 2.Jesuit 3.St. Louis 4. St. Pauls 5. Acadiana 6. Teurlings 7. Rummel 8. Brother Martin 9. Vandebilt 10. Newman
I think thats the way it should be right now. If you dont play competetion then you cant expect to get ranked above a team that maybe lost a few to better teams. Also i believe Caddo is right behind but i never seen them play, but here good things. They should try to make a few trips down to the south

soccerfreak, i like your top 10....exceptttt i think teurlings should be 8. their only notable games were against vandy and st.louis...which they tied both. and rummel should probably be below vandy. they have played absolutely no one. other than that its rewarding both teams for a flashy record, but dull schedules

Yea i know about teurlings i thought hard were to put them but they are experienced and will be playing some tough games coming up and i think they will do just fine.
