Yup. It was thought that he wouldn't play soccer at all this season. I don't know how this story didn't get more attention.

Yeah. most people would ask what happened to him after they saw the scar on his head. The scar was pretty noticeable after the entire team shaved their heads.

i didnt know this no7 could you tell us more you play for jesuit right Yea no doubt. Ryan Cabos had to stop playing soccer for about 10 months in order to get brain surgery, he missed the first half of our NO United season, and the first good bit of the Jesuit season. Alot of people including his doctors were saying he shouldn't come back to play at all, but he came out and ran with the team because it was what he could do. One day i guess about a month or so into the season he got the ok, and started practicing, but not only that, he didn't miss a beat. He got stuck in and expected guys to get stuck in on him. he is an inspiration to our team and i can guarantee you the goal he scored against Rummel is the HIGHLIGHT of OUR TEAMS season even over winning the state championship. If ryan wouldn't had needed brain surgery, he would have started this year no doubt about it but it was what it was and now he is know around school and especially around his friends as "The Brain"......Oh and he and his brother are two different types of players so..no way to compare them fairly...they're both good and so was they're older brother chris, a senior starter on the undefeated state champion 07 team...Guess great soccer runs in the family

Chris was definitely a beast. I remember playing against him in club when I was playing a year up on my team in Shreveport.

Yeah, I remember Chris as well. He was a very solid player, as are both of his younger brothers. I wish Ryan all the best, and good luck to Steven.
