Sorry but OC did not deserve the STL win. They were literally given one goal by the ref, and the last goal was practically given to them too. The only reason they catch people's attention is because they have close games with good teams when they play at home, and then get destroyed when they play a decent team away. HOW CAN THAT BE?! Yeah, they do have a unique style of soccer. It's especially unique because nobody has played the way that they do since they were 8 years old. It's called kick and chase. I doubt OC will even make the playoffs next year. Westminster had a strong young team this year, and I think will be much more improved next season. OC won't stand a chance w/o tyler.

Next years race will be extremly close to see who makes the playoffs. WCA will have to get past St. Louis, OC (yes I said OC as in Opelousas Catholic) and Catholic High of New Iberia. OC will have a strong team next year without Tyler Martin. He is a very good player but we will and can win without him. And quit sayin crap about our field. We are use to playing on a smaller field while some teams (I.E. STA) are use to playing on a huge field where teams cant run with them.

It is safe to say that the school to beat in Division I will ether be a Catholic league school or from Lafayette, the Northshore or Catholic of BR. The following numbers bear this out.
Semifinal appearances are represented by the first number and Championship appearances are represented by the number in the brackets. The last number indicates state titles. All of this information was found on this website.
Catholic League – 23 (16) 8 Jesuit - 11 (9) 5
DeLaSalle – 5 (3) 1
Brother Martin – 4 (3) 2
Rummel – 3 (1)
-------------------------------------------------
Lafayette League – 17 (8) 2 Acadiana – 8 (4) 2
Lafayette – 7 (2)
Carencro – 1 (1)
Comeaux –1 (1)
---------------------------------------------------
Northshore League –11 (6) 5 Slidell – 5 (5) 4
Mandeville – 2 (1) 1
Northshore – 1 (1)
Covington – 1
Ponchatoula – 1
St. Paul – 1
------------------------------------------------------
Baton Rouge League – 7 (5) 3 Catholic BR – 6 (5) 3
BR Magnet High – 1
-------------------------------------------------------
Lake Charles League – 5 Barbe –5
-------------------------------------------------------
North Louisiana - 2 Byrd – 2
-------------------------------------------------------
New Orleans Public –1 Warren Easton –1
-------------------------------------------------------
Schools currently Division II that were Division I – 4 (1)
Ben Franklin – 1 (1)
Lee – 1
Scotlandville –1
Woodlawn -1
57 of the 72 semifinal teams are from the districts mentioned above. 35 of the 36 Championship match participants are from these districts and ALL 18 STATE CHAMPIONS are from them. Don't look for things to change in the future!

If anybody has the time and the desire, it would be interesting to see if the numbers for these general areas hold up for the other divisions. Anybody??

Hey, what about Comeaux for Div. I? They have a killer sophomore class this year and I think theyll be a surprise team next year. The next two years I think youll see them start to unfold and a lot of people will be surprised. Granted they have a sucky coach, but the new, fresh talent theyre getting is phenomenal. In two years they will the team to beat. Next year lafayette high is losing all their Trump's players. Acadiana will always be good but I think its time for a new team to step up in this division and I think it'll be Comeaux. Send your replies.

here is how at least Div III d3 will be. st louis will be strongest, but they can be beat. westminster will be better than most think. catholic high will be strong, and so will esa. those will be the competitors, the only ones.

LOL.......YEA OK you must be from WCA to write that kinda crap. The district will end pretty much the same way as last year. It will be b/t STL and OC. CHNI will also be pretty strong this year and you cant forget TCHS....you better watch out for them (they will be pretty decent in the next couple of years) WCA will also be OK but they not gonna beat out OC for 2nd or even 1st

too bad WCA beat OC last year, and they are only going to be much stronger this year, losing very few people. I think it's going to be like this.
1. STL 2. WCA 3. OC

OHH YEA it was OC HAHAHA you must have forgot about that. Its ok we all make mistakes just like your making a big mistake thinkin that yall will beat us this year WHEN IT COUNTS!!
thats all Im saying. You started the trash talkin so Im just finishing it. But we will let the season show whos the better team. It could be yall or it could be OC. You just never know

I don't play for WCA. I played for STL therefore my opinion is unbiased. WCA in my opinion was just as good as OC last year, if not better. OC whether you like it or not, are going to be at a loss next year w/o tyler. WCA will only be better next year.

Thats what must ppl think. That OC is not going to be good without Tyler. We will prove (just like last year when ppl didnt think that we would even get into the playoff) that we can win without Tyler.
and WCA lost some talent too last year. From what I have heard (Im not trying to start crap) but I heard that who they lost was some very good talent just like we lost Tyler. I dont know who else they have from last year that make make a huge mark for their team but I know for a fact that we still have some very good talent back from last year.
I guess this will all have to be settled on the field when the time comes. But both teams should put pressure on STL next year for the district championship....in my opinion

Division I: Jesuit, Lafayette, Carencro, Central Lafourche, St Paul, Catholic, Brother Martin, Mandeville, Baton Rouge, and Hahnville.
Division II: Vandebilt, St Thomas More, Ben Franklin,
Division III: Newman, St Louis, Loyola, University, St Martins.
Start a new topic if you're going to go back and forth about oc and westminster. You people talk consistently more than any other teams. Dutchtown is catching up though.

hey futballa, guess what? I am not even from wca. you really should find something to do outside of the computer room of your house. perhaps you should go practice or something if you plan on being so good next year. you will need to back up that big mouth.

That post will be the last of this crap b/t OC and WCA. We will find out what team is really better during district play.
If you would like to talk about anything else other than which team is better let me know. From what co says I have all the time in the world to talk being that I sit in my room all day and talk crap.
