ST AMANT--9 CENTRAL ---2
This one was over almost before it started. PK was awarded for handball 2 minutes into the game. Sebastian Torrado converted. St Amant scored 5 more times in the first half, and three in the second with a lot of reserves playing. Central managed 1 goal on some lame defending and one off a flop that led to a pk. Central has some good forwards, but couldn't withstand the Gator onslaught. Sebastian Torrado had 3 goals (he has 10 for the year now), Tyler Melancon had 3 (9 overall), Dustin Cloautre 2, and Zac Melancon 1. Gators attack is growing on a daily basis, and they have scored 29 goals in 5 games.
St Amant now 5-0-0. Plays Lee on Wednesday, and East Ascension on Saturday

it seems that the tempers are flaring on some teams. With FHS receiving cards they will have to play tough and smart to get back winning again.
Northshore and Covingtion had a great game going w/ ball-skill all around and physical contact ( Covingtons Keeper and northshores striker got fired up to fight it out in fridays game.)

Parkview Baptist 4 vs W/Feliciana 3 ( in O/T ). Parkview were 3 - 1 up at the half, W/Fel came back 3 - 2. The game was stopped due to one of W/Feliciana's players breaking his leg, after the restart it became a fast physical game with W/Fel getting the equalizer in the last 30 seconds of play. Parkview scored within minutes of the first half of O/T and defended hard and counter attacked with speed. A very good physical and competitive game by both sides. Best wishes for a quick recovery for the W/Feliciana player who had played a good competitive game up until the accident.

Mandeville 2 Fontainblue 0 The Fontainblue goalkeeper got a red card for trying to break the neck of a Mandeville player. The keeper slid in with 2 raised feet and the Mandeville player landed on his head. Can a player be suspended for a season? In 2 consecutive games, Fontainblue players have gotten red cards. Can the coach keep this team under control. He yells at them constantly during the game, and you will get this manaic play as a result. On the red card the goalie went to clear a through ball and when he went to kick it he slipped and ended up kicking the player, there was nothing close to sliding in with two feet studs up. Im pretty sure they gave the goalie a red for one the whole last defender preventing a goal thing or something like that. I cant think of the rule rite now. But he definetly wasnt trying to just flat out knock the crap outta the kid.
