Field conditions were abysmal as well. Personally, I dont think EBR deserved either PK they were awarded but they did earn the win. Great game by both teams and unfortunate for CES. Looking forward to thr final next week.

I think this one goes down to the wire. CE scores early either side of halftime and EpBR ties it up in first half but falls short in the second half. 3-2 CE in a revenge match from a few months ago. Really nice prediction bud

Better team with the better players won tonight. #8 was the best player in the field and his finish on the second goal was brilliant. Good speed, solid defense, well coached. CES played really well in hostile conditions. No shame and lots to be proud of. First semi-final game with more to come.
Now about that CR - Two terrible PK’s, a missed intentional handball for a goal (EBR 3rd), the inability to make decisive calls and a general lack of confidence and control on the field. Trying not be judgmental but the players, coaches, fans and game deserve better than that poor level of referee talent. Somebody please tell me there is a process of accountability for the referees - please... There are too many good referees in the system to have to play a semi-final with that level of poor quality. The coaches and players sacrifice and work very hard to be good enough to make it to this level - is it too much to ask to have playoff caliber talent holding the whistle ?

Coaches agreed on the association for sure and maybe even the specific referee. That’s where you need to start. I don’t know who had this game, it definitely was not my group.

Great game by the Knights. CES will feel hard done by the officiating. But that 1st penalty might have been a make up call for an earlier no call that warrior16 missed. Shocked we actually got a controversial call in the playoffs to go our way for once. The second goal for EBR was a perfectly weighted pass by the center back to the center mid and it wasn't a long ball. Sorry but if you are getting that kind of penetration and touch you are the better side. EBR keeper made an outstanding save to deny CES their first goal - great rip that scores on normal humans.
Little #1 for the wildcats is a sneaky little devil. Lost him in the crowd on set pieces (twice!) but he was positioning himself perfectly the whole game and deserved both of the goals he got.
Third goal for EBR was also PK and most people missed the take down in the middle of the box as the ball came in because it was before and away from the action near the keeper (except for the linesman that is). Fourth goal for the Knights banged around in the box and CES wanted handling but if hands are in natural position or against chest it's often not called. In that much congestion the ref probably doesn't see it anyway. Is it really just bad luck when you give up that many deep throws? 5th goal by EBR was breakaway speed by center forward after digging the ball away from two CES defenders.
CES you've got a lot of potential. To get to the finals you've got to be able to play quality opponents all season and have success. That way you are prepared to overcome bad calls various fields conditions, and whatever else comes your way.
