How are your schools limiting the size of spectators at games at their own stadiums/fields? I recently heard of an Orleans Parish team barring opponent's spectators from its field, while allowing its own supporters to attend, in the name of COVID safety. I thought that was pretty unsportsmanlike, though perhaps its a parish edict.
Here's a poll, since everyone loves a poll.

Plus, for some reason even pre-COVID opposing team fans usually elected to sit far away from Jesuit fans and generally had little to cheer for so no reason not to collect $6 from them.😄

When do my bluebird friends play Lucious Lusher? Only they could be so coy in the Uptown Funk Location! It’s time for a song for Lucious Lusher!

Well, I’ll go ahead and spill the beans that vistajay is speaking about us. Our administration thought that it was the best course of action, considering Orleans Parish is limiting to 4% capacity. For our stadium, that would be close to 40 people. Our administration made the difficult decision to only allow our parents, and they took the stance to try and be as safe as possible.
For the entirety of our season thus far, we have only allowed parents in anyway. No other fans, siblings, etc. have been allowed in.
If you don’t like it, well, sorry about it.

However, like mentioned above, only parents of Lusher players are allowed in at this time. We will be live streaming the match, like we have been all year. Lovin’ that you’re on the Lusher train. Quiet though, we don’t want anyone else to notice us.

Where is the ED White game being played?

Wasn't trying to throw Lusher under the bus, Upper90. The restrictions sting from a parent perspective of course, but as I suspected parish rules are tight. Looking forward to a good game, watching the livestream; and seeing lots of Lusher players I've had the pleasure of coaching back in rec days or who've been club teammates and opponents with my son. Great to see Lusher doing so well.

Great to see Lusher doing so well. No worries. I knew we’d get flak for it. I warned my AD about the look of it all. I know there are a few other schools in Orleans Parish that are doing the same thing we are. However, we’re in the minority compared to other places around the state.

Holy Cross is open. So is Shaw You know Holy Cross is in New Orleans, right? And I'm sure they don't have any more seats than Lusher. Hopefully schools that are capacity-limited can avail themselves of Tad Gormley. 26,500*.04=1060 people. Even Pan Am would accommodate 200 under the mayor's absurd figures, which consider indoor and outdoor sports equivalent, even though that flies in the face of any reasonable scientific interpretation of the pandemic over the last 9 months. Of course, I realize that practicality and expenses may keep teams playing on-campus, even if attendance numbers become extremely limited as a result.

Do something great for High-school soccer upper 90. Move it or I’m putting Gallstar voodoo on the Lucious Lushers. That’s my last word. I’ll donate 1K to the winning schools selected charity if it’s moved to a fan Freindly venue.

Are you sure they are interpreting the restrictions correctly? The nola.gov site says it is 4% of standing capacity, not seating capacity, and also refers you to the state fire marshal guidelines for outdoor events which allows 25% of stadium seating capacity for Phase 1. The Lusher field has stadium seats on both sides of the fields. So why can't visiting team parents use 25% of those seats?
