Mandeville 2 Terrebonne 0
Great game. 0 - 0 at halftime. Mandeville just had a little too much for the young Terrebonne team. Good luck to Mandeville the rest of the way.

415, in response to your comment about BRHS coming down from peaking, don't be so sure that they don't have some more in the bag. At this stage in the playoffs its all about survive and advance. As long as you play your hardest and can win, you save the peaking games for when they are needed. By the way, in watching the BRHS-Caddo game, both teams fought really hard and it was nice to see the support that the other teams in District 4 came out to show BRHS today. District 4 you showed true class today!! Thank you St.Jo, St. Amant, and Woodlawn players for your support.

What a concept. Teams from the same district actually cheering for teams from your own district. Magnet did you learn anything while you were in Baton Rouge?

you know what's even worse about that? alot of the magnet players either play club, have played club, or grew up with the players from byrd.

It's great that teams from the area come out and support the ones still in it. I went and cheered for CHS last night over Mandeville, of course, thanks to me, they won! Anyway, it was great to see members of District 4 come out and cheer for the Lady Bulldogs to a victory. I also heard that a couple of players are going to watch them in Comeaux! What dedication. I'll be there also, who else will be there?

What a concept. Teams from the same district actually cheering for teams from your own district. Magnet did you learn anything while you were in Baton Rouge? Ppllleeeaaaassseeee! I’ve seen some politically correct attitudes before, but this is really out there. I don’t have a dog in this fight, but c’mon! You and goldenboot just won’t let go, will you? I frankly can’t see why a Moderator hasn’t deleted your whiney posts. you know what's even worse about that? alot of the magnet players either play club, have played club, or grew up with the players from byrd. Yes, and I’m sure you know, a lot of animosity was built up over the years between players of the rival clubs. Maybe we can start a new thread about the ridiculous division between the SFC and USC (did either of you work to mend the division?) Or, maybe we can explore whether there is a cause and effect relationship between one city having a united club and the extent of mutual respect and support between players on different high school teams ( What a concept!). Or, maybe we can start a thread about the politics involved with forming a club team primarily based on where players go to high school…yes…I’d like to talk about that. My post was not an “attack” on either team. Just a statement of fact. If you’d like, we can have a discussion about what kind of commitment it takes to actually have a realistic shot at being competitive for the state title…what players need to do…compared to what they actually did over the years.

I agree, people are getting a little angry over little things, people are entitled to their positions. Calm it down a little. Anyone going to watch the BRHS - Comeaux game? Can't wait. Hope to see some people from St. Amant there.

This gets to be like herding cats some times.
Folks, this thread is for scores, not open discussion about who supports who and why.
And please, let's keep it civil. There is absolutely no need for calling anyone out in this forum. I doubt very seriously the people posting the negative comments in these threads are actual players on the field. Rather, they're some over zealous fan who wants to defend their position like this is a political blog.
Let's stay on topic. This is the second thread I've had to reel in and I will no longer tolerate petty bickering. Move it to the Anything and Everything forum.
