Here are my Top 10s. My logic in DII is similar to goat's. Great minds think alike. ;D Division I 1. Jesuit 2. Captain Shreve 3. Lafayette 4. St. Paul's 5. Catholic BR 6. Brother Martin 7. East Ascension 8. Dutchtown 9. Acadiana 10. Caddo Magnet Division II 1. Teurlings Catholic 2. Vandebilt Catholic 3. ASH 4. Loyola 5. McKinley 6. Neville 7. St. Michael’s 8. Beau Chene 9. Bossier 10. DeRidder Division III 1. Newman 2. University 3. Episcopal 4. St. Thomas Aquinas 5. St. Louis 6. St. Martin’s 7. Northlake Christian 8. Westminster 9. Menard 10. Ben Franklin you having EA ranked 7 is retarted. They beat grace king... hooray and then what else? lost in the 2nd round.... i do not see why you would put them ahead of acadiana and dutchtown who beat EA twice...

And I'm sure Teurlings didn't play their best soccer when they beat ASH in overtime. The point is, Loyola made it to the finals--Vandy didn't and ASH didn't.

I would be happy making it to the finals, not by what my final ranking is. Loyola should be happy with their season and not care that they are 4th at the end of the year. They should be proud.

To the Loyola players, fans, etc.:
The majority of the people in this world do not read this board.
You lost in the finals.
Just say you came in second.
Because technically you did.
Hooray.

It just bothers me that despite coming in second, we are still not considered the second best team.

do you really want to be considered "second best"?

It's a helluva lot better than fourth best. And I have no claim to being The Best, because Teurlings was clearly that. I think that second best is fair though.

well i agree with that because my team got messed over and has been bad mouthed the entire year, but take it in stride and use it to motivate you for next season. in the end thats all you can really do

I feel your pain. acadiana came in second in i think 2002 to Brother Martin. When the fianl vote came out Jesuit was ranked ahead of them and we beat them in the semis. I didn't understand it then either but I was emotionaly tied to the team. The record book still shows the rams as the Number two team in the state that year and no one remembers the rankings.

Okay Loyola people, I agree. It's time to let it go. It was a great season and now y'all are ending it on a negative note. Voters have their opinion. You know what you did and that is truly all that matters. Thank you Goat for taking the time to argue with all the crazy Loyola people.

I think there's only one way to settle this once and for all...
Goat, I challenge you to a Wii Tennis match. First to one hundred.
