I know that both teams were missing players during the Mandeville tournament last week. Will they be at full strength, other than injuries, for the game? We were missing 4 starters and then a 5th was hobbled by a swollen knee. 3 of 5 are back. This will be a tough out. Sheila will have them rocking. A 2-1 game. Not picking the winner -- just wishing. SJA over BRHS 4-3 in PKs. 0-0 after reg and both OT's. SJA outshot BRHS 24-7 and on goal 15-4. BRHS GK made several ridiculous saves. And BRHS no 2 saved a goal with a bicycle kick. BRHS went up 2-0 on the SO.
BRHS GK with 15 saves. SJA's Aleah Harris with 5. BRHS played extremely well in the midfield constantly thwarting SJA attacks.
A typical gut wrenching district 5 game.

It was a great game. Sja has talent all over the field. Brhs played a gutsy game and was able to keep possession close to 50/50. Both teams had about the same amount of real chance to score. 14 had a super game ; great cross that wasn't finished and she also hit the post. Keeper play was phenomenal on both sides. Midfield on both sides very strong. Even though brhs didn't get the win they leave the field knowing they can play with a team full of club players.

Dutchtown/Woodlawn match from 12/20 was a 5-0 Dutchtown win according to folks I spoke with this weekend. I saw that on the results spreadsheet and included. The only thing thing I am missing is whether St. Amant and McKinley played on Dec. 20th.

2-0 final SJA over St. Amant. Goals by Reagan Munn on a fabulous 1 touch off the Sarah Town assist. Bradie Moran with the left footed rocket from the 18 on the assist from Reagan Munn. Final shots 34 with 23 OG for SJA and 3 (2 OG) for STA. STA GK with 21 of 23 saves. Aleah Harris with 2 saves. STA had opportunities and never backed down.

EA 2-1 over Dutchtown. Penalty kicks 1-1 thru reg and overtime. great game in crazy weather. Sometimes driving rain. Credit to both squads Wouldn't this be a final score of 1-1 with EA wining on PKs? I ask because I recorded our game against BRHS as 0-0 with us winning in PKs. I didn't record us as winning 1-0. Don't know and am asking.

It's considered as a 1 goal differential. Example, two teams play to a 0-0 tie with penalty kicks separatng the teams, it's recorded as a 1-0 victory.

It's considered as a 1 goal differential. Example, two teams play to a 0-0 tie with penalty kicks separatng the teams, it's recorded as a 1-0 victory. That's the way LHSAA records it. On the spreadsheet, we try to capture the actual PK result. So please report the shootout results. If it was 5-4, we would show it as 0.5 to 0.4 to capture the data. For stats, ONLY stats prior to the shootout count. So in this case, there would be no goals, no assists, and no goals allowed - only saves (but none based on the shootout).
