Wow...awful D1. Captain Shreve shouldn't be ranked ahead of Grace King. Woodlawn shouldn't be in the top 3 or 5.

Wow, in D2 ASH (Alexandria Senior High) had to play Tuerlings in the first round of the playoffs because of the new playoff layout. ASH showed they could play against Tuerlings and pretty much lost the game in the last 8 minutes. ASH also shared the district title with DeRidder; how are both these teams out of the top ten? DeRidder lost to eventual Beauchene; semi-finalist. I know you can't base one match on a teams rankings but it is the playoffs; which is what you prepare for all year! I don't believe any of the teams from 4-10 place could have done that well against Tuerlings. GREAT JOB TUERLINGS ON WINNING STATE!!

i think you are right ash and deridder should both be in the top 10. but beau chene had played teurlings twice this year to a 1-0 final and a 2-0 final. both were great games.

Teurlings defeated Parkway 3-0 and McKinley didn't even make the playoffs! ASH lost to Neville really early in the year 0-2 but controlled the whole pace of the game. DeRidder also had good / better results than some of these other teams. St. Michaels has also done well so there rankings I can see!

Also surprised Shreve got in there. Must have gotten credit for being the only team to beat Caddo Magnet. The thing with post season rankings after a playoff are what to you give more credence, regular season or playoffs?
My rankings would be
#1 Caddo Magnet Not #1 - everyone else.
All they really serve is to give all of us great topics to discuss.

I think ASH should have been in the final 10 & Parkway should have been ranked higher than 8th. ASH had a young team. look out for them next year

morgan city was dealing with the same problem...many teams deal with football players returning...i think that picture is misleading but still beau chene was scoreless...it doesnt matter my statement was that mc recieves no credit

Morgan City isn't a better team than the rest of the top ten, simple.
Morgan City will continue to receive as much credit as it deserves. A losing Record on the year is not worthy of top ten, I don't care who you are, or who you ALMOST beat.
You ALMOST beat Tara, and lost to Teurlings by 3, whom Tara took all the way to PKs.
8-10-1 with losses of 7-0, 8-0, 6-1 and no real impressive wins to make up for it. Sorry.

where did you get that record from? the only team mc lost bad to was to vandy during district...other games were played in tournaments with many players missing...know what you are talking about first before you say it and im not here to make excuses or argue i was stating my opionin on the rankings I didn't just make it up, spectator. Morgan City LossesSulphur L 3-0 Pineville L 4-0 Terrebonne L 7-0 Vandebilt Catholic L 4-0 Teurlings L 3-0 Comeaux L 6-1 Capt Shreve L 6-1 Carencro L 8-0 Vandebilt Catholic L 8-1 Tara L 3-2
And same here, I'm not arguing, but I don't see why MC deserves the top ten credit you're striving for here.

vandy and terrebone were the only ones not played in tournaments...in most tournaments we didnt even have 11 starters sometimes...im done here...im just saying i believe mc should have gotten some votes

having been a player on the supposed "underdog" team of woodlawn, id like to say thanks to my team. i've heard alot of people say things about what a great team caddo is. but i dont see how it can be possible for them to ever have built the life long lasting bond that me and my teamates have built over the last few seasons. it has truly been a pleasure for me to line up with them day in and day out. my only regret or feeling of remorse following this season is that i wont be able to take the field with them again for one last time. i feel like john wayne or clint eastwood at the end of one of those old western movies. well, maybe not riding off into the sunset with the girl, (or trophy) but going down in a blaze of glory after battle. i can honestly say that i have given everything i have into that team. and am proud and consider myself priviliged to be apart of it. our coach never gave out captain bands on our team, because he felt from the beginning that no one player was more valuable than another. because each one of us was responsible and equal to another. as the season went on we bought into that concept, and became better people and players because of it. finally, i guess i just want to say thanks to my team and our coaches for a great season. despite what other teams, or people on laprep have said we made it to the finals and almost took home the trophy. well we did take a trophy but not the one we wanted. but hey, itll work for me. ...congrats caddo, grrrr,....kidding
