well our team had people missing because of football. i mean, were the first to admit it, we werent a team fulll of soccer players. more like a few players, and a bunch of competators and athletes. alot of guys had to learn how to play and some just had to mature and grow into thier roles. we were a very young team. i was the only seniore (13) going into the season, and the high school quater back decided to join up and one guy moved in from florida. and the dyers are juniors, everybody else is a sophmore. so thats pretty much it

who votes? because having captain shreve in the final top 10 discredits the entire poll. what a joke.

I am one of the voters. This Final Week was by far the toughest this year, primarily because of Woodlawn. I can't please everyone, and you are free to criticize my votes. The only thing is that my interest has shifted to baseball, so that I may not read your criticism much longer. ;D 1. Caddo 2. Jesuit 3. St. Paul's 4. St. Thomas More 5. Brother Martin 6. Woodlawn 7. Acadiana 8. Rummel 9. Carencro 10. Catholic
1. Teurlings 2. Vandebilt 3. Tara 4. Beau Chene 5. St. Michael 6. Neville 7. Loyola 8. Parkway 9. Holy Cross 10. McKinley
1. St. Tomas Aquinas 2. Newman 3. St. Louis 4. University 5. Episcopal 6. St. Martin's 7. E.D. White 8. St. Charles 9. Northlake 10. Menard

When you beat Shreve...it seemed like a fluke, but then you proved yourself all the way to the end. Congratulations to you and your team for a great season end! And your coach sounds like a man of high character and has obviously earned a lot of respect by both his players and the rest of the La. soccer family. Good luck to all of you in the future and thanks for giving all of us Shreveport fans a great game to watch!

having been a player on the supposed "underdog" team of woodlawn, id like to say thanks to my team. i've heard alot of people say things about what a great team caddo is. but i dont see how it can be possible for them to ever have built the life long lasting bond that me and my teamates have built over the last few seasons. it has truly been a pleasure for me to line up with them day in and day out. my only regret or feeling of remorse following this season is that i wont be able to take the field with them again for one last time. i feel like john wayne or clint eastwood at the end of one of those old western movies. well, maybe not riding off into the sunset with the girl, (or trophy) but going down in a blaze of glory after battle. i can honestly say that i have given everything i have into that team. and am proud and consider myself priviliged to be apart of it. our coach never gave out captain bands on our team, because he felt from the beginning that no one player was more valuable than another. because each one of us was responsible and equal to another. as the season went on we bought into that concept, and became better people and players because of it. finally, i guess i just want to say thanks to my team and our coaches for a great season. despite what other teams, or people on laprep have said we made it to the finals and almost took home the trophy. well we did take a trophy but not the one we wanted. but hey, itll work for me. ...congrats caddo, grrrr,....kidding You had a great season, man. You showed me and all the other young players alot. This year has been great, I'm happy that you ended your Woodlawn soccer experience like this. Thanks and hope to see you at coaches this summer!

I do not know the Woodlawn coach, but I can tell from all of the posting, he has created something special in this team. And I am only basing my observations from the post on this site, this team is tight, a brother hood of sorts. This team has gone from a .500 team to a team that believes. It is amazing what the power of a group can do. Great year Woodlawn. Congrats

Are we ever going to get to see all the voters' rankings? I'd like to see the reasoning behind their rankings.
