Soccermaniac, re: "Boomer, come on.... whether Jes deserved it or not BS?:
HELP.... please note .... "boomboomgal" [odd name in a way is it not?] is not the same person as "boomer."
I like Jesuit, and soccer. Congratulations to the Js. I watched some but the announcers were pretty lame... and the web cast was spotty on my computer. A little hard to follow.

Let's see stop yelling about the pk Jesuit got. Lafayette had a pk that was NO where close to a pk. The pk jesuit got, a Lafayette player said himself it was a foul and in the box so shut up. You people blog Random stuff thinking you know things. Stop obsessing over highschool soccer and get a life. Face it JESUIT WON AGAIN. undefeated for 2 straight years. Sp let's see what excuses yall can pull from eerywhere on how we got "lucky" again. This website is run by Lafayette and shreveport. Shreveport didn't even make it to the finals so thas enough said there.
Someone said yall think we are "cocky jokesters" well maybe we are. But you can't do anything about it cause YALL CANT BEAT JESUIT! We can say whatever we want cause we don't lose. So go ahead and make stuff up but all I know is the trophies is at jesuit, AGAIN

imeanyeah, is that a Jesuit education you are speaking with? Is soccer all they care about at Jesuit? Because your writing is just terrible. You said, "all I know is the trophies is at jesuit", WHAT? Come on man, gather yourself and speak better than that if you want to represent your school.

cocky like a jesuit player too. Why must Jesuit people be so cocky? Jesuit did play great but be honest. to lose a game on a pk is horrible no matter who you are. no one is making excuses. I was at the game and i was 20 feet from the "foul" it could have gone either way. but deciding the most important game of the year off of it is a bit rediculous

brix, I saw the foul on the Laf player and it was legit, in the box. PK awarded, no problem. And the better team tonight was the Jesuit team. I thought it was a good game. The only thing that Jesuit has going against them is that "imeanyeah" is speaking on their behalf.
2 years undefeated - great accomplishment. Must be true about the private schools, best teams MONEY can buy. Not bad for a simple old public school to give them a pretty good game.

Lafayette said it was a pk. How many shots did Lafayette have? 0. Lafayette's pk wasn't a legit pk anyway. Jesuit can be cocky cause they don't lose

From a completely unbiased opinion not affiliated with either team... I don't think I would have called either pk but if that was the case, Jesuit still wins 1-0. I would hope that isn't a Jesuit player, they typically do a good job letting their play speak for itself. Jesuits defense was the key tonight. Lafayette outplayed them the majority of the game in the midfield but failed to create many quality opportunities. Jesuit played kickball almost the entire second half while Lafayette would string together many passes in possession. I def think playing without Cabos hurt Jesuits attack. Good teams find a way to win and Jesuit did that....but they should feel fortunate to have won after being outplayed in my opinion.

As ShreveDad eluded to during his comments, the center didn't realize it was in the box until after he made his call. I think it was a legit call, but the center was easily 35 - 40 yards away. By his body language, had he known it was in the box, he wouldn't have called it. But to me, if it's a PK in the first 5 minutes of the game, it should be a PK in the last 5 minutes.. The Lafayette player was just a little over aggressive. Congrats to Jesuit.
