University 3 - 2 Episcopal All of UHS's scores were from set-plays (2 PKs by Anthony Ravussin, another goal off free kick by Ravussin). EHS scored on free kick by William Davidson and another one assisted by Davidson. It was an exciting game, but referee lost control of the game. He kicked out UHS Coach (because he came to the field to check his goalie who got hurt bad) and EHS students (yes, everybody in a section from the bleacher). Anyway, UHS is #1 in District 4, EHS is #2. UHS will play #2 in District 1 (Ouachita Christian?), while EHS will play #1 in District 5 (STA).

Unbelievable game. Fans were sitting on the edge of their seats. The ref had 22 potential criminals (plus coaches and fans) to deal with and he handled them well. He did a fine job. The players played their hearts out. If U-High plays like this on their next game, there is no reason for them not to advance.

Ahe LSU women's practice field, the bleachers are right near the field. Probably a better setup is a stadium where the bleachers are back farther so the referees and players can't hear the individual fan comments. Even better if people would cheer for their team and not abuse the opposition or referees.

Was the goalkeeper who was as you say "hurt bad" even need to leave the game. NOPE he didn't. The University goalie reaggravated a previously injured shoulder last night in the game. He left the game and didn't return. He was hurt badly enough to not return to the game and put University's #1 and #2 scorers in the goal at points during the 2nd half vs. episcopal. Seems pretty serious to me. I wouldn't normally put my 2 top scorers in goal if my goalie isn't hurt. But that may be just me...

Those Division III brackets are ugly as hell. The top 4 teams in Division III are all in the top half, and the lowest ranked are in the bottom.

All i have to say is who ever makes it to the finals from the top half will have a very easy game playing the team from the bottom half

the DIII Brackets make me sick. Having the top 4 teams in the state on one side is ridiculous

Soccerdude 21, You don't think that St. Martins or University can beat any of the teams on the top? First off, St Martins, from the bottom already beat Newman from the top, and University from the bottom, already beat st. Freds who is on top. So i don't think St. Louis will just walk through the final regardeless. The ball is round and can bounce either way.

Not sure how good St.Martins is, But University would get beat down fairly bad against St.Louis.

I agree with Uhigh. The finals will be a good game regardless of who's there just because of the atmosphere. I think the University-St. Martin's semifinal will be very close, but the other will be a cake walk for Lapira and co. Also, just something to keep in mind, St. Martin's and Uhigh will be the most dominant teams next year (St. Martin's especially), so it will be good to see them play each other.

How did West Feliciana get into the playoffs as a wildcard, Teurlings, Esa, or Catholic High would have been a much better match for St. Fred's....just my opinion

What about the St. Martin's verse Pope John Paul game? Does anyone see that being a pretty good game? I have heard that Pope has a very strong defense.
