Hark! Calmeth yourselves.. I do not come forth wearing a horned Buffalo suit with three triangles tatted on my chest to incite a riot. After all, we know what happens when you “mess with the flock”..... I was only implying the mighty doves were in mourning secondary to having so many injuries. Really need to find a specialist to see about all those wounds and heal them up quickly for playoffs is a coming. I should not have used the word “disposal”, simple three syllable words like that just may get me reported to my coach and labeled a “jerk”. And we will have none of that....for I am a firm believer to the meaning of this quote that the mighty Griffin coach put out to his young warriors, “Sharing a quote I read in the paper today: "Fortune, the great comandress of the world Hath divers(e) ways to advance her followers To some she gives honour without deserving To other some, deserving without honour" - George Chapman 1634 I will leave this with our hardened coach’s last words: PLAY HARD! Or don't play at all. Ski ? Hola amigo ... this gonna be fun ... I’ll take the role of jerk ... just a matter of time :-) ... now that I know about this board anyway Becareful friend, there are some hyenas stalking around just waiting for an easy ambush. I have yet to identify all of them and figure their homeland allegiance but all in due time. Looks like Dutchtown will sleep tonight dreaming of SSA sweet nothings.....

Right now we have at least 2 PR ties. One of which I think will go to LHSAA tiebreaker.

I added the Loyola Byrd game because I assume it will get posted. This should be close to a final PR. I will check the teams that are not playing in the playoffs and get the final PR and the brackets up in about 20 minutes.

This should be the final PR from LHSAA. A few caveats... 1) I didn't track games that were added after the deadline. If anyone knows of any, feel free to let me know. 2) There are 2 ties that will be broken using the LHSAA tiebreaker. Ponchatoula-Comeaux and Delta Charter-Northlake Christian.
Let me know if you have any questions. I will run it again in the morning to see if there are any changes.

I remember that two or three years ago that is what would break the tie.

Do they go to the third decimal place or is Division win % the tiebreaker if two teams haven't played each other?

Right now we have at least 2 PR ties. One of which I think will go to LHSAA tiebreaker. So what is the lhsaa tiebreaker? Just FYI. It does not go to third decimal. 11.446 is the same as 11.452. 18.6.4 Tie breaking procedures to be used when two or more schools have the same power rating: 1. If two schools are tied and played each other during the season, the school that won the most games against the other school shall be the higher seeded team. 2. If after applying the first criterion and the tie is not broken or if the two schools did not play each other during the season, or if there are more than two schools involved in a tie, the tie shall be broken by applying class play percentage (schools that were played in the individual school’s classification). The school with the higher percentage shall be the higher seeded team. 3. If after applying the second criterion and the tie is not broken, the school with the highest won-loss percent in division play shall be the higher seeded team. 4. If after applying the third criterion and the tie is not broken, the school with the highest won-loss percentage in overall regular season play shall be the higher seeded team. 5. If a tie still remains, the higher seeded team shall be determined by having a “draw” conducted in the LHSAA office by the soccer seeding committee.

Question regarding home games in the playoffs. Let’s say #26 plays at #7 and #23 plays at #10. If #23 travels and beats #10 and #7 wins at home in the first round, does that mean #7 then has to travel to #23?

First of all, I’d like to congratulate all 32 teams for making the playoffs. For some seniors, this will be the only playoffs they ever experience in their lifetimes. The thrill of do or die competition simply can’t be replicated, and the feeling of team unity going into battle is a great example for how to approach a career, family, and marriage. Now is the time to get those 5 PK shooters picked out and ready to go.
I’d also like to thank 3balz for putting together the rankings every week, often times after midnight. As much fun as it is to poke fun at his blind baby northshore panthers (it’s true, panthers can’t see for the first two weeks of life, have really thin skin, and their field is the worst in D1), 3balz’ tireless work is greatly appreciated.
But most of all, I want to thank 3balz for manipulating the PR rankings to ensure that Dtown can play SSA if both make it to the 2nd round. Your alumni check is in the mail. After ski called the doves “disposable”, SSA girls are out for griffin blood. It’s clear that when Dtown picked a mythical griffin mascot, they used the back ends of a lion and an eagle and forgot to use either head.
Dovesdad’s new trainer is using essential oils and Blue Emu cream to get the Doves back to full strength. You haven’t seen such an angry flock since Alfred Hitchcock’s “The Birds”. Ski will regret his “basket of disposables” slander for years to come.

Did Edna Karr win district? If so, they will replace Bell Chasse at 24 in division II.
