So I'm sitting here kind of stunned. Kenner Discovery didn't even have a varsity team four years ago, and it looks like we made playoffs. I thought we were going to, but the reality of taking kids that don't play year round with the exception of two and some girls that had never played competitive soccer to field a team seems ridiculous in retrospect. Four years of hard work paid off today! You and I are in the same boat coach. Coaching "Public" school kids in Jefferson Parish is harder then coaching a team filled with 75 to 100% club players. Congratulations coach! Thank you! It’s been an adventure. Let’s definitely schedule next season!

It’s been an adventure. Let’s definitely schedule next season! I feel you both completely. It's my school's 4-5th year with a varsity team, and being a public school in the BR area makes it a little tough, but my girls have fought hard and are going back to the playoffs for the 2nd year running. It's definitely an adventure for sure! Been a great first year as the HC (asst last year).
