Redemptorist played Bishop Sullivan last year (and got our behinds whipped I might add) so we might draw them again. I guess staying home and getting kicked is better than a 3 hour road trip to get whupped. At least you get to enjoy the gumbo sooner.

Parkway beat Bossier 3-0 on Saturday the 29th. Neville and Parkway tied for 1st seed in their district. The tiebreaker was head to head play. Neville won the first game 2-0 and Parkway won the second game 1-0 on PKs. Neville won the tiebreaker because of goal differential so they are the 1st seed and Parkway is 2nd seed.

Man, why do we pull Bishop two years in a row?
That just ain't fair. Zachary, who we beat, gets to go to 5-2 Opelousas. We gotta take on one of the best teams in the state.
Just ain't fair.

Life isn't fair, grasshopper. We beat Pineville 3x, and they get Beau Chene while we get McKinley. If we are lucky enough to win, then we get Dutchtown. Ouch! Pineville gets Neville, which is a good team, but not D-town. So, speaking of, how 'bout some info on McKinley from the BR boys? Hook a brother up!

doesn't seem like Neville got much respect in the polls.....won district and still finished out of the top ten....behind loyola, and parkway. How is that?

Neville may not get respect in the polls, but they got a fantastic draw in the bracket. A first round bye(probably b/c Bolton declined the WC), then the winner of Pineville v. Beau Chene. then either Sam Houston, Northside, Opelousas or Zachary. It's a cake walk to the semi-finals for Neville, or at least that's my prediction.

We shut them out twice this season. They're not what they were last year. They're in because Lee went winless (as far as I know). I know they were winless in district.

Neville was CO-champs with Parkway this year in there district...not sole winners. They are a pretty good team.

Leesville went 0 for district, very young and inexperienced. What they lack in ability, they try to make up in aggresiveness and rough play. Let's put it this way, DeRidder beat them in the 4 games we played them by a combined 35-3. When driving to the outside with the ball, they tend to try and take you out, and fall along with you to try and draw a foul.

Dutchtown very lucky not to have to play St. Scholastica and or Bishop this year. Bishop very strong this year with English Coach, don't know his name, but i hear he coached at ST. Amant before. EA as good as Dutchtown considering they only have no premier players. Where would Dutchtown be without the player with ponytails? My favorite is Parkway. North has strong girls teams.

Beau Chene is not a bad team. Some speed, but don't think you will have a problem with them with what I have seen from Pineville this year. Best of luck to you.

ASH will play McKinley at 5:00 pm on Thursday - also there is a change to the bracket - Dutchtown now has a BYE - guess that S. Terrebonne didn't want to play

Bishops Coach was not English and as for DTHS they have a large # of players with ponytails not just 1.

Beau Chene was beaten by Bolton in Pre-district play. They aren't to be taken lightly, but Pineville shouldn't have a problem with this game. Just tell them to keep it "Clean" and play their game, and there shouldn't be a problem getting past the first round. Good luck in the play offs!! Represent!!
