St. Scholastica is a good team with several premier players (MSC and NOSA). They played Sacred Heart close and I expect them to have a good playoff run.

Don't worry yourself sick AICWildcat, Bishop Sullivan is a shadow of last years team, (BRHS 8- BSHS 1 ) If Redemptorist goes out wanting to win, anything is possible. Ask Rivers, his team gets to face Comeaux this year in the first round after having gotten smashed by Lafayette last year in the first round. Redemptorist should be on the wagon to promote some sort of seeding system or predetermined bracketing so that they don't have to face the same juggernauts each year. If you happen to get by Sullivan don't you possibly matchup with another District foe, EA? Doesn't seem quite fair does it. But it was like that last year too. Hope for different result in 1st match this year than last. By the way Bishop started the year with one coach but I was told he was relieved of hid duties in December and replaced with someone else. Good Luck to all the BR Area teams. May they represent their schools with pride and Class whether in Victory or Defeat

Ask Rivers.... has a nice ring, almost like a Dear Abby. Mister Pumas FC might also feel his pain soon. Last years 10-0 defeat at the hands of Lafayette was a learning experience for Woodlawn's freshman oriented team. This years sophmore dominated team faces Comeaux a little wiser and more experienced. On paper Woodlawn doesn't stand a chance but that's why they play 'em on the field. Make no mistakes, we'll show up and we'll fight you till the final whistle. After all this is our second straight trip to the playoffs. It was only 3 years ago with an 0-13 record the playoffs seemed a dream away. Our time is coming...... two years down the road and history will prove this out for a then senior laden class. In the meantime bring 'em on. The sweet taste of success is enhanced by the road traveled......we'll know we're there when District 3 comes a calling at the Jungle......see you soon.

actually Neville was "sole champs" they won on a tie breaker and are the "sole champs". 1st game Neville 2-0, second they lost in pks, which goes down 1-0. Two goals scored, 1 allowed. Yeah they won.

Bishops Coach was not English and as for DTHS they have a large # of players with ponytails not just 1. Pardon my english, but the coach that used to be at St. amant (last year or the year before) that coaches at Bishop is not English? He must be European then. Believe me, there is only one good player that wears pony or pig tails. I believe she plays BRSC? Shame Loyola has to play Parkway in 2nd round. Either team was my favourite.

ASH over McKinley, 9-1. McKinley draws first blood on a direvt penalty kick by #4(I think). ASH gets the next five in the first half, then scores 4 in the second. Sadly, have to face top ten Dutchtown, while #2 team in Dist 3 goes to Neville(hey, Neville creamed us too, but they're not D-Town).

The Bishop Sullivan Lady Warriors defeated the Redemptorist Lady Wolves this evening by a score of 4-0. The Lady Wolves were on defense most of the night as the Lady Warriors were relentless.
A very well played, clean game, hard played on both sides. Our girls never gave up, even when it was clear what the out come would be.
The Lady Wolves finish the season 8-8-1. We say good-bye to three seniors. Keeper Lauren Wells, Forward Stephanie Joffrion and Mid-Fielder Heather Flake. I believe they will have fond memories of their senior season.
Well played Lady Warriors! Good luck the rest of the way!

SSA advances with 2-0 victory over East Ascension. The Doves took a 1-0 lead with Meghan Tennyson finding the side net about midway through the first half. EA stayed on the defensive for the most part.
Second goal came in second half with a driving volley by Jessica Madden off a Tennyson cross. EA had one decent opportunity twarted when SSA keeper took away the angle and tipped the shot wide. Onlly one corner for EA; SSA had about 8.
Solid defensive effort from Anne Baldwim, Jennifer Davis, and Allison Pellissher.
Fine effort from EA, whose bench was very enthusiastic. They picked up the attack at the end but without result.
Doves face off with Bishop Sulliivan in round 2.

Hey coach4365, how much success have you had over the years? Maybe you are missing the information that you need more than a couple of good players on a team to win things. Ponytails, pigtails at Dutchtown? Definitely more than one, and guess what...three District Championships in a row, so quite a few girls with ponytails and pigtails obviously have some ability. I've never thought about picking a team based on hairstyles either, but now that you bring it up.... Just one more point, you also seem to have some wrong information about English coaches. Trust me in particular, you need to sort that out straight away. Oh yeah, stop trying to pretend like you're from the north, i.e. from parkway or loyola

Friday 2/4:
Ben Franklin 5, Cabrini 0
3 goals for Elie Schneider, 1 for Maura Burke, 1 for Jesse Smith.
The game went about as you would expect. Cabrini was well-coached and played with heart, but that wasn't enough.

Trust me in particular, you need to sort that out straight away. Oh yeah, stop trying to pretend like you're from the north, i.e. from parkway or loyola Obviously you know more than I do. If it will make you feel any better, I suck as a coach and as a player, but I can read, my gramar is horible, but I can deduct and analyze. I did not mean to disrespect any of your girls, I intended to indentified C. Breaux, an Ole Miss signee as published in this website (that is where I learned her name). You or the other kid that responded to the pony/pig tail question did not have to take it so personal, it was not an attack towards you or your Championship team, it was a simple case of ignorance on my part for a name. You and the other kid, including everyone that reads this thread knew who Christine is (either by knowing what she looks like or by name) I saw Christine at Parkway two years ago, pig tails was her trademark. Lighten up!! Now that I know who she is, I see her name all over the place and recognize it. Neither. You think Dutchtown is better than Parkway? If you do, I stand corrected as gentlemen do. Let the play-offs do the talking, I will do the walking (back to the boys side). Either way, good luck to your team, I hope they win it all, for you believe they have the talent to do so. I don't!

Hey coach, D-town does have 2 premier players. Kodi Bethay also plays for BRSC and was 1st team all-state last year and Metro offensive MVP! She just signed a full ride to La Tech to play for Jennifer Soileau, ex-Sullivan coach, ole Miss all-american and Womans National team member. I believe she might be a judge of talent....... ;D ;D

here's to the teams from north louisiana!!
from what i know about ASH and D'town, the game will be very close. ASH has two of the top five goal scorers in division II. can the young D'town defense shut them down? D'town has two all state players, but can they contain the ASH scoring tandem, we'll know late wednesday....
good luck loyola v parkway
