This looks like one of the unorganizaed tournaments that I've ever seen. 1. Big gaps of time 2. No need to play on Sunday 3. Fields being unused during big gaps of time 4. If you want the tournament to go two days, start everyone on Friday
Too bad, there are at least four quality teams in it.

the game between Mt Carmel and St. Louis should be a great game due to the game that was played between the 2 in the country day tourney. St. Louis lost 1-0 having a goal dissallowed in the last minute, so they will be up for it and if anyone saw the barbe st louis game and saw what St. Louis are able to do when they are up for a game i feel sorry for Mt. Carmel

q, whoever you are, you are just showing your ignorance. There are also boys teams playing in this tournament, that's why the gaps. Also the teams in Bracket A want to play quality teams, thats why they are playing each other and the B Bracket are playing each other. Everyone will play teams their caliber. The local teams are playing on Friday and the 2 out of town teams aren't because of the hotel costs involved. Which is what was requested by the coaches of the out of town teams. Everyone was given what they asked for, so before you write something like you just did get the details.
We could have made it where St. Louis plays Morgan City, but who would get anything out of that game. Everybody is playing teams of their caliber. All the coaches are satisfied with the brackets, so I guess that is what counts. NOT your opinion.

bubble, I was at the St.Martin tournament and the goal you are talking about was one where the ball bounced off the extra post that's on top of the normal soccer goal and is used for football field goals. If you wanted that to count it should have been for 3 points since it was a field goal. If you didn't understand why it didn't count then maybe you should stick to football. And as for Mount Carmel since it's the only team that participated in both quality tournaments this fall (St. Martin and Lafayette), I am sure they are scared and are glad you are sorry for them.

OK...so MCA will win this tourney. LHS over Acadiana 2-1 St. Louis over Acadiana 3-1 MCA over LHS 2-0 MCA over Acadiana 3-0 St. Louis over LHS 2-1 MCA over St. Louis 2-1 Records: Acadiana 0-3 LHS 1-2 St. Louis 2-1 MCA 3-0 That being said......GO LIONS!

neutral. in your opinion who dominated the St. Louis Mt Carmel game in the country day tournement? and i can garuntee even if those bars weren't on top of the goal it would have hit cross bar weather it would have hit and went over or back into play who know but it would have hit part of the cross bar.

I take back everything that I said. Its a well organized tournament. In fact, here are a couple of quotes from the boys page: Why isn't LHS in their own tournament? Shreve's coach wondered the same thing when he saw the schedule. Also wasn't real happy with the Sunday match. Advertised dates were Friday and Saturday. The coaches and several of the players have tickets to the Indy Bowl Sunday night.

bubble, if the bar it hit was above the normal cross bar it would have just gone over the goal and not hit the cross bar

That's what you get when you play the game in football fields. Arguments like that. Anyway, it sounds like St. Louis will be ready to play MCA on Sunday morning. I wonder whether it will mean anything to them because they may forget they have 2 games against teams that can easily beat them on Saturday too!
