it doesnt matter who she (Cambri) is playing, if its a bad team its 6-7 goals if its a good team its 2-3 goals, go watch her play, she dominates the whole game

People like to use "goals scored" all the time to justify why someone is the best, and that's just not an accurate way to measure the talent of a forward. You really have to watch someone play and take all factors into consideration. There's more to a forward than just scoring, and there's more to scoring than just a forward.

BECAUSE SHE REALLY IS THE BEST CULLEN... stafalcon4show, his reason for an opinion on a player should be of no concern to you. People have been complaining about nepotism in this thread but why does it matter? This is not an official poll and these players will not be rewarded for their nominations. People have their own opinions and they will differ from others, generally. And also, stafalcon4show, obviously drellerman is not alone in his opinion about Cambri so your comment was unnecessary and out of line.

The best players in all divisions play on a Division I top 10 team or 1 of the first 3 teams in Division III. Those are the best teams in the state and obviously have the best players. I have watched our team play 8 of the 13 teams mentioned above. In those games when two quality teams are playing what I have noticed more than a great player that stood out was great team play, great passing or crossing that set up beautiful shots or great defensive teaming that rendered the others offense hapless. In those games, I can't remember one player that completely stood out, but I remember all of the teams as a whole being very good. With that said, I have to smile at some of the posts of the best players in all divisions who play for teams who haven't played anyone much less a top ten team who are on someone's list as a best player in all divisions for the entire state. Please!

Regardless, comments like that are unnecessary and should be kept to a minimum. Thanks.

I was the goalkeeper behing Melissa Minton last year and yes there were 20 shutouts to my name but I credit every single one of them to her and the rest of my defense. She had the knowledge and awareness to set up an attack from the edge of the 18. Not only that she had the uncanny ability to score goals as well. Yes you might say I am biased because she made my life alot easier last year, but I honestly believe that she is one of the best defenders in the state.

Has anyone see Katie Stefan from Acadiana High play. She controls the midfield very well esp for a freshman. As of now, she is not even close to being the best player in all divisions but with experience and more time she could be.

Yancy is an amazing player. She plays for Lafayette Rage (club) and Natchitoches Central (High School). Great teammate, amazing with a ball at her feet. Scored both goals in the NCHS v. West Monroe District game.

And another player, Kim Belmont. Great Center mid really knows how to lead a team! ODP state team player. just really great overall.
Some others to think about, Lindsey Warren, Erica Arnold, Reyna Lubin.

A player having a simply outstanding year is Chelsea Cruthirds of Dutchtown. As a sophmore, she's playing with improved versatility, great confidence, and is finishing time after time when her team needs her to.
If teams try to shut her down, they then have to contend with Lexi Gibbs, a freshman who is also scoring time after time against good opponents, and who will only get better with time.

I believe that Joleigh Hartman for St.Amant should be mentioned. Great leg, Smart Player, and excellent team player. Looking at First team All-State honors as a Junior.
