Lana Ashford - Tara = GK without many soccer players in front of her (but still the most she has had in four years). Required to carry the load to keep team in games.
Meagan Aultman - ST Joseph Academy
Second picklebreath Erica Arnold is something special

If no one has seen her play down south - Chizoma Onyemechara for Neville is a beast on defense. Some must have heard of her as she was on the all-state freshman team three years ago and been on the first team all state the last two years. Big and great footwork but what scares you is she can outrun most all forwards to get the play done!

Division III Reyna Lubin- St. Charles Catholic Jessica Rausch- St Charles Catholic Reyna out for 1-2 weeks...with some sort of muscle strain. Its going to be tough playing without her for 1-2 minutes.

Saders1fan, We must think alike because Meagan Aultman from St. Joe's is really good in the back field. She can run! She makes it pretty tough for even the fastest of forwards.

Couldn't agree more. And even though she is a junior, Megan is a true team leader -- constantly encouraging her teammates and getting the defenders positioned for attacks. If she played forward, she would get the accolades that the Barrows of the world get, because she has speed, speed, and more speed. Glad to see her mentioned in this thread.

Speaking of speed, speed, and more speed, how about Alex Bacque of Acadiana, who plays with Megan Aultman on the U-17 American Girls from Florida.

sokerfan,
This thread is to give credit to kids in HS who excell in soccer that others notice as well. Give credit where credit is due. Ask Vandebilt if she is a good player!
As a reminder, Alex recieved a 1st Team ALL District Forward as a FRESHMAN last year in District III, you know the one that YOU said was the toughest district in the state! It included, Barbe, LAFAYETTE, Acadiana, Comeaux, just to name a few. As well as 2nd Team All Acadiana.

It encourages too many people to promote their kin....if you know what I mean.

Yeah Alex is a good player but she still has a lot to learn about the game of soccer. Soccer is not all about how fast you are, its about your position on the field and if you can read the game well which i'm sorry to say she can't. All she is an Athlete

From Vandebilt country... yes Alex is an excellent player but it was obvious that she had just rejoined the team. The game was very evenly matched in the first half. Acadiana scored only once Vandy took out a senior defender and another key player due to injuries. And despite what greenfury says there was no blowing past our defense... she was only as good as the balls her teammates were sending her! Back to the subject: Speed, speed, speed... Reyna Lubin, Erica Arnold, Megan Aultman, Aleisha Tarbell, Kate Corley

I have to agree with eurosweeper about this thread being a way to promote their kin. In my opinion the only way for a TRUE assessment on who the "Best Players in All Divisions" would be if for whom ever is posting to watch EVERY GAME from EVERY TEAM. I don't think that is possible. What if the "Best Players in All Divisions" is out due to an injury? Does she get noticed sitting? What if the "Best Players in All Divisions" is having an "off night"? Every true athlete has a game that will be the worst game they played. Every parent thinks that their child is the best player in all divisions. Including myself. I think the correct title for the thread should have been... "In Everyone Bias Opinion Who Are The Best Players in All Division"
I don't believe in team motivation, I believe in getting a team prepared so it knows it will have the necessary confidence when it steps on a field and be prepared to play a good game. - Tom Landry

I think a more appropriate title would have been .......Who thinks their daughter is the best?
I'm sure it started out as a good idea but it just becomes these shameless plugs to put in either their daughter or someone from the same team. Eliminate that and let the thread be the best player you have seen play this year that is not your daughter and does not play on your daughters team and I think we might be on to something.

Ashley Brunet - defender SJA with Aultman. One of few defenders I have seen who can actually read the field.
