The video showed the foul count ending up:
Lafayette 22 Sulphur 17
Interesting, being that what has been posted made it seem alot worse.
Last ten minutes of the match seemed to be a hacking contest.

Your numbers are transposed. The final foul count was 27 - 12. It was 15-6 at halftime. So yeah, 3-1 was an exageration. It was 2.25 to 1.
The ref engaged in way to much interaction with the fans. Sorry STX, but that is the way it is. I have never heard of a ref bowing to the home fans after making a call against the visitors. That is completely unprofessional. Again, I don't know what happened, because I have seen this center call very good games, but last night she was very unprofessional.

Hey McScruff, I saw ya up there in the small LHS contingency Monday night. Good to see the fan base gladly make the drive out to Sulphur. The atmosphere was fantastic from start to finish. Now, onto the center referee's 'bowing' to the home team's faithful. What you witnessed was a little bit of referee humor. The whole Sulphur mob was calling for a handling foul (rightfully so from my vantage point on the opposite side of the field), and did so in complete unison. Her arms went upward in a sort of conductor-like manner, so as to say 'everyone, altogether now'. There was no disrespect meant, and both benches (coaches included) got a good laugh out of it.

soccerref83 is correct about the so-called bowing incident. We sounded like the Mormon Tabernacle Choir when we all shouted "hand ball" together. She just made light of it.

yeah, I see the humor...now. There is a time and a place, though.

Hey McScruff, I'm not a big fan of the soccer refs I've seen and when one can make me laugh I really appreciate it. But I guess if I had been on your side of that incident I may have felt the same as you.
Again, good luck on Saturday.
