You can analyze the video all you want. What happened here is obvious. MCA underestimates CL and it cost them. People have been underestimating CL for years. We played them two years ago in the DII finals. At the time, the talk on these boards was that it could be the first mercy rule finals. Well the final was 1-0. And CL had several chances in the last 10 minutes to send it to OT. How did MCA underestimate CL? Seems to me like they had to play a lot of the game with 10 players? Missed quite a few chances, and conceded a rather freak goal that may or may not have been offside. Failing to prepare and failure to execute are two different things.

The same way SSA underestimated the value of your coaching... they’re still playing this year if you’re still there.

What has not been discussed was the fact that a young player made a very immature play that led to the player ejection. Cooler heads prevail and we are not talking about Jeopardy, Weinstein’s Walker, controversial offsides, or y’all cats dissing the K-Dog.
Hot playoff heat, gotta keep ya head cool.

I remember someone posting on this board a few years ago. Don’t write a check your kid can’t cash. We did not save and my daughter missed out on the college experience. However, she found a pretty good job and the wife and I feel fortunate. One less mouth to feed and ton of money saved. I am sure she will meet a nice young man. Ulysses is a frequent visitor at her place of employment.

But if your gut says you gotta go with it, then follow that big gut. Well played!!

I'M JUST WORKING UP THE NERVE TO COME TO THIS BOARD AFTER SUCH A DISGUSTING DISPLAY OF OFFICIATING LAST NIGHT! THESE GIRLS WORK SO HARD ALL YEAR, ONLY TO HAVE THAT ALL TAKEN AWAY BY A REFEREE. A YELLOW CARD WAS WARRANTED, SURE. BUT, TO PULL THE RED OUT FOR THAT OFFENSE, IN THIS MOMENT WAS INEXCUSABLE! OBVIOUS OFFSIDE CALL WAS MISSED!
CL WAS ATHLETIC AND TOUGH, BUT THEY WERE NOT IN THE SAME LEAGUE AS US AND WE HAD TO PLAY THEM WITH A MAN DOWN.
I WISH I COULD SAY THERE'S ALWAYS NEXT YEAR, BUT SADLY THIS IS IT FOR MY GIRL. GREENER PASTURES ARE AHEAD!
FIDDLE ON AND GO CUBS!

BS I can’t figure out if you are yelling at everyone, if you are vision impaired or just can’t figure out how to turn off cap lock but I agree with you. Red card was a little extreme. It was like a bull fight, they stab the bull until it bleeds out and the bullfighter is proud after the bull collapses. CL will be exposed this weekend!

GREENER PASTURES ARE AHEAD! FIDDLE ON AND GO CUBS! Agreed 100%. It doesn’t matter what the other blind moderators believe or think. I’ve watched both plays in slow motion. The CL player had an award-winning flop. The CR was 30 yards behind the play. There’s no possible way she had a good view. There’s also no possible way the arm pulling the CL player from behind could’ve generated enough force for her to fall like she’d been knocked out unconscious. Her jumping up and clapping in excitement after the ejection only strengthens this argument and is poor sportsmanship. The line judge was merely a mime and clearly missed several calls during the game. The offsides was the most egregious. This is futbol. The better team on the field doesn’t always win. This was one of those days. It happens to the best - happens to Barça and happened to Liverpool yesterday.

Meh - the excuses were better in 2018. Make sure to get another written apology from the referee assigner. Can't blame the field this year.

The only thing exposed is the elitist nature of some of the posters in this thread. Your pay to win private school was beaten. Deal with it.

A couple of MCA parents telling the very experienced refs who have commented they don’t know what they are talking about and citing other teams poor sportsmanship... pot, meet kettle.

This is how you retarded you are. Experienced refs? In Louisiana? One of the poorest producing states of soccer talent in USA? The poor level of the refs only matches the poor stereotypical standard we see on the field game in and game out. Stay inside your NS High School bubble. We’re now off to U.S. Development Academy soccer in Texas. Enjoy your kick ball and long throw-ins. 🤪

I was starting to miss the posts from the SSA dads, but this thread is much more entertaining.
